And have him end the games. Whoever of Zach or Curry is playing better on both ends, gets to finish the game. It's that simple. Maybe he's not a very good defender but he plays his heart out and does everything asked. And as soon as he came out of the game last night, it started to crumble. Some other points:

Start Nate Robinson. He has earned it I think. He also plays his heart out and even though he makes bad mistakes, he does what he can. Put cry baby Zach Randolf back in the starting lineup. He plays his hardest all the time too, even though his defense sucks. The hardest working players get to play. It's that simple.

Also, Quentin has got to find his shot. If not, start playing Chandler and have him come off the bench and decrease Qs playing time. Q plays hard, but he's playing so bad that it gets completely crossed off. He hardly looks like an NBA player now. And if Q can't find anything, then he doesn't play.

SL:
Zach
Lee
Jefferies
Crawford
Nate

Bench:
Jones
Curry
Chandler
Balkman

You can put Rose in for either Jefferies, Balkman or Jones. Wont make much of a difference.

Honestly, ideally a guy like lee comes off the bench but still plays like 30 minutes per game. I say this because of his lack of a jump shot. but on this team he should start.

Allan,

I agree with the line-up until you get to Nate. I would start Jones at the 2 instead of Nate. With Jamal playing point.

Right now based on the current play/hustle I'm going with

Balkman/Jeffries
Randolph
Lee
Crawford
Jones

6th man
N. Robinson
Q(if he gets his shot going in practice)

Nobody else plays. I'd have to know what is going on with Chandler and Collins before I have an opinion.

The rest of the guys can kiss my asse. I'm going 7 1/2 deep and will play them until they die.

I would too. The only difference between what I would do and what you would do is that I would play Chandler over q. how bad could he be?

Agreed, and I fear Eddy may never fully recover from that lip injury.

No I think its the viewers who will never recover from Eddy's lip injury having to look at that nasty thing for like 4 straight games.

Shortening the rotation will lead to I SAY UGH telling us Fnas "Our Players Have Nothing Left In Tank And May Come Out Flat" when we play Philly @ home on January 25th.

I remember at some point last season, reporters were asking why we got killed in certain winnable games

"Why Philly?" "Because we were tired."

"Why Golden State?" "Because they were about to get hot." That was my favorite.

Bip, I agree with you that Curry should hardly even be playing, but is that happening? NO!

Slimpack, I agree that Lee is a great 30 minute a game bench player. However, on this team, he looks like a star compared to everyone else. And maybe he really is a star bench player, but he's earned a starting spot and the Knicks were playing great last night, with him in the lineup, and then they got blown out in the 4th, with him out of it. Maybe it did or didn't have to do with him, because I listened to most of the game driving home from Brooklyn last night, but it sure would have been nice to have him in.

I agree 100%, (Edit)I would start Chandler & play Jefferies at backup PF, Q could backup Crawford at SG. Nate & Jones would play the pg position, but Crawford would be the primary PG when Jones is in. I would give Crawford & Lee 35mins. I would give Chandler 25mins. Nate & Randolph would get 30mins. Q would get 20mins he would get few mins at SF but mostly backup SG, Jones 13mins, Balkman 18, Jefferies at backup PF 13mins, Curry 18mins as backup Center. Randolph would become full time center.

Randolph(30)/Curry(18)
Lee(35)/Jefferies(13)
Chandler(25)/Balkman(18)
Crawford(35)/Richardson(22)
Nate(30)/Jones(14)

I think the 4th quarter meltdown was a combination of curry seeing the floor, and the Magic simply going on a run that they were somewhat due for. Even when the Knick were up you could tell that it was partially because the Magic had lost their rhythm offensively. but they did a good job of regaining it in the 4th. Lee probably would have helped though. Curry should be on the IR.

NewYork, I'm with you, but I just don't want to give Chandler a starting spot yet and Balkman is just as shaky as Jefferies. Just in different ways. Start putting Chandler in the rotation and if he's consistently outplaying Jefferies/Jones/Rose/Balkman, for say a month, month and a half, then make him a starter.

I just don't understand why he's getting ZERO playing time though. He's getting none and it's confusing as hell.

Chandler is probably so bad, that if he started for us and played 36 mins a game, we'd probably be 8 & 20.

Oh, wait, we are 8 & 20.
