This is from the "whatever happen to Michael Ray?" documentary that has been running on NBATV. One of my all time favorites. Larry Bird said he's one of the best players he ever played against.
Not sure if anyone remembers, the game in which Bernard dropped 60 on Christmas day, Sugar Ray actually outplayed him and won the game for the Nets. I think he had about 37 pts and double figure assist not to mention a bunch of steals. He carried the Nets in the second half and won that game for them. "Man, who knows with this team." Aguirre.

Michael Ray use to bust Dr. J also. Michael Ray use to go at all those guys in the playgrounds back in the days. There are street legend about him going at many of those players that we considered the best of all time and really destroying them.

I watched that documentary about his life. It was 4-5 years old I think but at the time, he was still playing ball in Italy. I doubt he is still playing though. He would have to be 44-47 years old.
