If Wallace is on the trading block, I'd shipped Curry back to Chicago along with Jared Jeffries to Chicago for BEN.
RealGM Trade ID #4365229

It may not be the best trade but we need to inject some life into this team especially on the defensive end so acquiring Wallace would be a start.

He'd have Randolph back by doing the dirty work, covering the opposing player's best big man and will set the tone on Defense.

Send back that lazy dude back to chicago..

what do you guys think?

I wonder if they would really do that though. He would seem to be the kind of player that could balance us out, but who knows.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I dunno man. That guy looks about as done as you can get and he has a really bad contract.

But if he has any ability to improve, with his leadership by effort/example he might be a nice influence, provided they take back another bad contract or two.

I dunno.

Damn you beat me too it...but I agree Curry + Filler for Wallace + hopefully future 1st round pick. I doubt the Bulls and Knicks make a trade due to that Antonio Davis promise (Knick were supposed to waive him but changed their mind).

i think Zach for Wallace is more realistic, tho i don't see CHI making that deal either... either way, they'd be taking on more longterm salary, & they won't want to do that... plus that same team went to the playoffs last year & played very well... i think they're going to see if a coaching change effects the team before they make any personnel changes.

just for argument's sake though, how about Malik, Q Rich & Morris for Ben? that gives them some added cap relief for 2010 & doesn't effect our longterm cap situation much at all.

Also considering they didnt want to pay Curry in the first place I don't see them taking him back now.

Zach they may take.

Skiles did not want Curry. Skiles gone = Curry back in the hunt. Plus they see what Curry is capable of doing last season. Wallace production at this point can be duplicated with Noah and Thomas with Curry as their Low post go to guy.

Correct! Curry is gone cause skiles didn't like him. Now Skiles is gone, watch the bull try getting him back. Since Curry left, Bulls haven't had a consistent post-up player.

Also, he's from Chicago, send his arse back home! Curry is only making 8mill or 9mill a yr which is decent.

This trade would be better than acquiring Gasol which would cost the bulls alot more

It makes sense cause Wallace would help us on the defensive end and compliment Randolph's game...

Curry and Collins for Wallace and an unprotected 1st round pick would be a solid deal. Wallace only has 2 more years on his deal. We get another 1st round pick. We let Rose and Marbury salaries end next year. IF Wallace shows anything next year, you trade him to a contender that needs some defense for another an expiring salary and a protected 1st round pick. Thus, we get our 2 1st round picks back and clear a boat load of salary for the summer of 2009. I would do this in a heartbeat.

We should trade Zach for Wallace. The knicks would be much better.

I'm not quite sure if any have done so already but this thread should be a warning to all who said "HA HA HA HA @ DA BULLS for signing Wallace, he's overpaid and way past his prime", to stay out of this thread.

hinrich is very difficult to trade this year b/c he's a byc player.

paxson MAY move ben gordon...but again, he has not made an inseason trade in 4 years (last one was the jalen rose deal).

Curry + Jeffries for Ben Wallace? I don't know. If it was something like: Curry + Jeffries + James for Wallace + Nocioni, then absolutely.
