Remember the infamous site that was posted here, which chronicled how I SAY UGH'S transactions & drafting weren't that bad and most were good? The site has some UK member quotes on it from the write up. Well they have an updated article on I SAY UGH'S line-up adjustment, with recommendations. It's nice to see SurgaRayRichardson, BernardKing, COSSUCKS came around somewhat....

– Stephon Marbury (develop Collins if Marbury is unavailable)
– Fred Jones
– Jared Jeffries
– David Lee
– Zach Randolph

I don't know, man. Does this look like a winning SL to you?
JJ2? I just can't sign off on that. I'd rather go with Balk or see what Chandler can bring. Marbs gotta go, too.

I think this is true

9) Turn Nate Loose: Up until the last couple of games, Nate has played too controlled, tentative, and measured. Like Crawford or former Knick John Starks who only know one speed, sometimes it is all or nothing. Nate will never be a pure point guard, so just tell him to be aggressive do that "microwave" thing that your boy Vinnie Johnson used to do. It is simply up to the coach to sit him down on those off nights.

and my personal favorite

5) Sit Q down (related to #3). Quentin richardson is only shooting 32% and is not the same player as last year due to his back surgery and shoulder injury. If he gets his touch back consider more minutes from him.
This should be a no-brainer

Desperation. Everywhere I look in Knicks Land I see desperation.

Some are even recycling the old "set Steph loose" fantasy.

Meanwhile, even Cossellout, who exalted Isiah's prowess for building a powerhouse, thinks at least two of our three captains (Eddy and JC) should come off the bench. And he understands the third, Marbury, might be lost to the nether world -- meaning all three of our "leaders" are lost. But still, all we need are tweaks to the starting lineup...

This team never really had a leader. We all knew that, even Isiah knew that. Steph was the leader only by default. We all know that Steph isn't a leader of men. It's actually a very difficult thing to do in this league. To find a good leader is hard enough and a great one is near impossible, cuz their are so few. It has been one of Isiah's fatal flaws in building this team, however, I can't totally kill him since it's hard to really get one of those guys.

The team leader has to also be a good player, cuz he has to be good enough to stay on the floor. ie. Rose or even Q have the right mentality, but no game to back it up. The funny thing is that if someone gave Nate some Riddilin he might be able to focus enough to lead. He's brave enough to be a good leader. He just lacks experience and self control. I've been impressed with his growth this year. He now messes up much less frequently compared to all the time. Who knows as he continues to mature he might be a decent leader. For right now tho, we're stuck.

'luva, the problem was to treat Marbury like a leader on one hand, and a spoiled child on the other. It set up inequities and imbalances that toppled the team and it's yet to stand up again.

Are you kidding me leaders goes as follows

Kidd
Nash
Duncan
K.G.
Chris Paul
Deron Williams
Baron Davis
Joe Johnson
Brandon Roy
Chris Bosh
Dirk
Iverson
Chauncy Billups
Lebron
Dwight Howard
Caron Butler

LOL That's half the league of clearly defined leaders which equates to 50% So you're way off base saying it's hard to find leaders these days. It is when the gm trades away the opportunity to get one and anoint bad ones.

we have 3 captains: marbury, crawford, curry

if we don't have any leaders, then why bother naming captains?

The only reason we have three captains is to dilute the meaning of Marbury's captaincy without revoking it outright.
I fail to see the logic, however, in having one of them be Curry. I can't come up with any excuse for that one.

It's probably salary based.

I had no idea "cossellout" was the fake "Bernard King" until today.

Always thought the fake Bernard was Eddy's dad. Funny seeing how BK is carefully backpedaling away from this Knicks disaster. He's what I call a very very very bad Knicks fan and is still continuing down the same path, although he calls for "limited" changes. You can't now question Isiah after you've been jumping up and down with glee every time he brings in career losers like Curry, Marbury, Crawful, and Randolph. What were you thinking? Combining losers with other losers does not equal winning! That is a recipe for disaster. A rotating front line of Curry, Randolph and Lee? Eh gad, seriously, an untrained monkey could have predicted free passes into the lane for the opposing team. What is the point of that front line? It's not a playoff winner, it's called WASTING OUR TIME. Coincidentally, that "wasting our time" line is the same thing I said the day we acquired Stephon Marbury. Basically this Knicks team has wasted our time for the past 4 years under Isiah.

Anyway, we must purge the likes of the fake BK and anyone that still clings to the hope our team can be salvaged at the end of this season. These fans should not be allowed any voice because they've had their say and along with it came complete and total failure. It's time. Time to blow this team to bits. EVERYONE must go, 99% off. Don't care if it takes 3, 5, or even 10 years to rebuild, just as long as Curry, Marbury, Randolph, Crawful and James never wear a Knicks uniform once this season ends. And of course, Isiah is gone too. But, I'd like him to stick around through the end of this season because we might as well get entertained with the fire Isiah chants. If Herb was the coach, what reason would we have for watching the games? The players still suck.

How did you figure it out Major? I and many others could be wrong are you going off of the aforementioned? I had him pegged a long time ago. He was so bad with his defending of Knicks and Curry, he literally argued his selections of picking 4 Knicks as All-Stars last yr explanation being "it's for the Fans". I was like WTF you can't be serious. This was like 2mos into the season on top of the many individual Pro Curry threads he created. Many fans have backpedaled this season not only him but it hasn't been wholehearted. There's still tons of reservations in their backpedaling and I'm in harmony with you, if there was a way to PURGE them all or dump the recycle bin of all the Wasted Fans I'd do it.

Your commentary was hilarious as usual.

You know you are in trouble as a team when Jared Jeffries is part of plan A...

Oh I was going by what you guys said here and what I read at realgm. I have no idea if he's the fake BK. Funny but I had actually checked out his site the other day, thought he had disappeared since Isiah flushed another season down the toilet. Wondering what had happened to him. Alas, he has reappeared, dumber than ever!

Papabear Says

This is Isiah's team and I wonder who advised him on picking these guys. Zeke go rid of any player that didn't have his personal pick on it. The only recourse and payback that Dolan have is not to let Thomas off the hook and letting the 25 million bucks go. I'd keep him here on spite and make him suffer just like all the haters and lovers because this team ain't going anywhere no matter who coach this team. If we bring someone else in and we win 30 some odd games it will push us back from getting a the number one pick. I say let Isiah deal with this the rest of the season. His legacy is on the line. In some of the moves he is making I wonder if he want to get fired.
Now on Scott Skilles or what ever the coach name is in Chicago. I don't think he lost that team. Chicago was lost before the season started when they thought they was getting Kobe in a trade and the whole starting line up would be gone. This not only pissed off the guys but it had a strange effect on thier egos. They can starting this season thinking anyday now they would be gone and so were the Chicago newspapers doing the same thing. You can blame Chicago newspapers for keeping the Kobe story alive and Upper management for not squashing the rumor when it first came out. I bet now that would have included Ben Gordon in it froum the begining when Kobe was hot and mad. I believe Kobe would have OK'd the deal out of anger.

LOL! We actually agree! And you also know you're in trouble when a poster (nixluva) is counting on Nate Robinson to be your leader!
