"We started from deep, deep, deep in the hole," Thomas said Saturday. "We started with a cap number that was probably the highest of any NBA team in history and a low talent level and a building that was empty. Now we have a building that is full, probably one of the most profitable franchises in the NBA. Our cap number's down and our talent base is good. We're young, we're improving and we still have a lot of room for growth. Now we've got to put some wins on the other side of the ledger. -Isiah "

Isiah is a moron who thinks Knick fans are morons.

He's also not speaking to US he's speaking to DOLAN through the media and unfortunately Dolan IS a moron.

Looks like he REALLY believes in this bull...
This kind of mental problems are common among executives and can be treated easily by surgically removing the man from his position.
After little post surgical recovery the man get real again.

He's simply trying to save his job. This is directed at Dolan, he knows we are going to boo him anyway
I just hope that people will like me

I'm sorry but it sounds like a spin to me

-Doesnt take into account the amount of time he has taken to put up a team that is STILL no better record/success and future outlook wise than before he took over
-That the cap space is still in a bad shape and we are still in a deep deep hole, most of our players have LOW trade value
-How flawed some of the talent we have, which has thus far translated to roughly the same record we have with Eisley, Weatherspoon etc. Talentless overachivers = Flawed talented underachievers.
-Still improving, room for growth? Crawful and Curry are at that stage of their careers where they should already have their act together. Issues like weight, desire and playing smart bball shouldnt even f***ing crop up!

I could probably nitpick on many other things as well but bottom line this guy is really just grasping at straws. The buck stops with him period when he took over as Head Coach of the team. He assembled the players and now he gets to coach them.

First off, the garden was NEVER empty. If you want to see empty, check out the I-Zod center. Secondly, I thought we were in just as bad salary cap hell. Actually, we are in worse salary cap hell, AND we are a worse team.

Funny how Isiah conveniently leaves out this little nugget: He's headed for his 5th straight losing season in his five seasons with the Knicks, and continues to field what is by far the league's -- if not pro sports' -- worst team in terms of production-to-payroll ratio.

It is so painfully clear how Isiah is simply talking to Dolan through the media. Anyone who thinks that even Isiah himself can't believe he still has a job is delusional.

"We started from deep, deep, deep in the hole, and we are still there," Thomas said Saturday. "We started with a cap number that was probably the highest of any NBA team in history, and up until this year it was the highest, and a low talent level, but had a lot of grit and toughness and a building that was sort of but not really empty. Now we have a building that is full and booing us , probably one of the most profitable franchises in the NBA just look at the bonus we gave Anucha. Our cap number's downI shed $3 mil from last year and our talent base is good, we manufacture reserves. We're young dumb, and full of...., we're improving because we're so good even opposing fans want me fired and we still have a lot of room for growth, yea, A ALOT. Now we've got to put some wins on the other side of the ledger to salvage what is left of my legacy. -Isiah "
