Currently we are 7-8 at home and 1-10 on the road. With all the talk about booing is it possible that the fact that the fans push them to work hard that the fans in NY are actually helping them?

Nah not helping them at all. They're just more comfortable at home as every team should be. Being 7-8 at home and 1-10 on the road seem to go hand in hand as well. I doubt less boos would mean being say 9-6 at home give the horrendous road record.

Didn't Isiah take a shot at us before the last road trip saying the team needed to get away? Yeah, that helped things didn't it. Worst road team in the NBA, 21st in the NBA at home.

We're right where we belong.........and it dispels any conspiracy theories or excuses.

for a team to be that close to 500 and that bad on the road just seems extreme. I just think we've gotten lucky at home a few times...

So we can at least conclude that the booing is not hurting them. 7-8, and 1-10 is a huuuuuuuge difference.

booing goes only agaist Isiah and sometimes Eddy.
And they are not playing usually (one is sitting on the bench and another is puffing and woofing).
So booing has no effect on how team plays home. And fan support helpes.

Not really. We faced a few teams in dire straits at home. Caught a few of them off of back to backs at that.

On the road it was the opposite we got caught by a few teams rested and ready to go.

We're 30th in the NBA on the road, 21st in the NBA at home, 27th overall.

When you put it into perspective it's not that big of a difference.

We got lucky a few times at home and unlucky a few times away. No big difference IMO.
