New York Daily News -
Isiah Thomas came marching into New York four years ago with a big smile and even bigger plans for the Knicks. What he found was a team in disarray and without much of a future.

To many, nothing has really changed during the Thomas regime. Even after Thomas has remade the roster a half-dozen times, the Knicks are still viewed as a team struggling to find its way. Thomas, however, doesn't share that opinion.

"I like the direction we're headed," Thomas said Friday, before his team lost to the Bobcats. "I've said this before: our future is definitely much brighter than it was when I got here four years ago. Cost-wise we're down. Talent-wise we're up. We did a good job of putting people in the seats. I think we're pretty close this year to getting back on track again."

This is Knicks team is a disaster. Unbelievable. You can't stop but laugh. I guess I'm no longer a "fan" in the classical sense anymore. I know that they're putting out a comedy. So you have to laugh.

I hope one day they make a movie.

he is delusional. he likes where we are heading. where? to mediocrity? we stink to much to be a playoff team but we win to much to be a significant lottery team. since he was here the only thing he did positive was draft. he made us younger athletic and taller like he said he would since coming but with what price? he traded to keep us over the salary cap until 2010 or 2011. he hired top notch coaches, those who should be in the hall of fame, and then fired them instead of listening to their pleas of changing "certain" personnell (marbury?). he traded to get essentially losers who came with hefty price tags. he criticize the best fans in the world instead of criticizing the only person that deserves it ( himself?). he further developed the team into a losing zoo like culture on the court, lockerrom and at msg. the list goes on and on. i am tired of this crap. i am not going to say anything about this team until new years or until something has changed. i need to enjoy my family instead of wasting time with these screw ups.

I need to get my eyes checked. I thought we were 8-18. The way he's talking, we 'MUST' be 18-8.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Maybe he was daydreaming that he was coach of the Celtics.

Well, a couple of weeks ago when we were 2-6 do you recall what he said during the post game? "We could just as easily be 6-2."

So maybe he really does think we're 18-8!

Unreal i am speechless with this whole organization.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Isiah believes these players are better than they are - and on that front, I don't think he's wrong- I think in a sum of parts approach, the knicks are better thay the are as a group.

He doesn't need to be wrong about their talent - just that they could fit in and handle NYC.

Whats not to like the Knicks are headed to the lottery with their pick. I even like the direction the Knicks are going in.
