Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone knew how our lovable little Starbury supporter is doing these days. Yeah, I'm talking about Starbury1 over at realgm. Don't know if he posts here, but I'm curious to hear his take on Steph's situation. And for old times sake, I thought it would be appropriate to post his Marbury shrine thread. Hmmm I wonder if he went to Papa'burys funeral?

Classic.

Starbury1 was one of my favorite posters. He always made good points even if you disagreed with him you had to respect his opinion. Starbury1 views as a fan were no different than when Jordan use to play. I remember fans that use to buy Jordan's clothing, chew gum like him, walk like him, and would eat only Wheaties for breakfast.

That's a ridiculous collection of stuff. You have to be impressed, even if the guy's support is misguided.

Oh, ok.. that's cool, although I'm trained to HATE Providence since I went to URI Big win over Syracuse about 2 weeks ago.

Starbury1 is also a big time KG fan. So he might be doing better than people think.

Yeah that was when Rutgers lost in triple overtime to West Virgina and missed out on a BCS bowl.

I remember this dude- didn't he come down with another friend of his who was also a big steph fan?

Starbury1 is a great guy. He was as good at defending Marbury as anyone, and in spite of our polar opposite views he was always a gentleman. Great poster, fantastic guy.

He was always a good person to talk to. Never got on anyone's case. His collection is amazing. I always chuckled at the Crawful jersey halfway in the garbage can.

Yes he is although I never met him, he always came across as very respectful. It's just a shame that a great fan picked the wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong person to follow in such an extreme way. ha ha those Starbury shorts and blanket were classic!!

Starbury1 IS a great guy (I don't know why we're eulogizing him). HOWEVER, that's insane. His collection/shrine is insane. Seriously, there should be a MArbury-Starbury1 restraining order in effect. At the very least, it's creepy in "The 40 Year Old Virgin" sort of way.
