Hey...

Basically, he wants a top ten guarantee from a team. The Knicks are rumored to be trading up... if they do it'll be #4 or #5 for Pavel or Bosh.

That aside... all GM's say he won't last he will be a top ten pick... guranteed. He still wants a team to do it...this could be interesting.

I read today said his agent sent a memo to 12 teams and none were reported to be concerned about his illness. The article went on to say the prognosis is good because they discovered it much earlier than was the case with George Mureson. I dunno... I've never even seen the guy play. As many have mentioned, it's a crapshoot... particularly those from Europe and most from H.S.

At least with guys like Bosh and Collison, for better or worse, we have a better idea of what we'll be getting.

Not much in the article... how about this article:

Podkolzine pulls draft shocker by withdrawing
by chad

It's been one crazy, wild ride for 7-foot-5, 300-pound Russian Pavel Podkolzine. On Thursday, Podkolzine cut the trip short by withdrawing his name from the 2003 NBA Draft. Podkolzine told ESPN.com that he felt he just wasn't ready.

I've been waiting for the first dissapointing news for the knicks this summer and here it is. This is only the beginning. With one less first round center to choose from, the chance that the Knicks are going to pick up a man for the middle are greatly diminished. Before I felt that there were just enough to ensure that we get one of these first round centers,

I finally got to see some video of Kaman and my thoughts about this kid were confirmed. He has an edge to him. I believed this kid had guts when I read the article about him a week or two ago. In the article he trashes the prospects and talents and declares he wants to be his own man, separated from these other names. He also stated that he going to work at making a name for himself in the NBA. The kid has guts.

For all those ballers out there you know that you have to have a certain attitude, a mean streak, especially when your playing frontcourt. Included in the video I saw of this kid, he threw down a nasty dunk, then stopped and stared at the guy who just caught the facial. Now that Podkolzine is out we gotta go for Kaman.
