His conduct was disgusting and was rightfully punished you cannot absolve him of his conduct as a result of Isiah's team still stinking several years later.

There's nothing to be vindicated from in terms of opinion to be honest. We knew before he even coached them one game he didn't like the team and maybe they just weren't very good. Most of us knew they weren't good but expected a great teacher to maybe get something out of them. It didn't happen and it went the other way. The infighting was inexcusable. All he had to do was ask for change behind the scenes and maybe just bide his time with Dolan and for all we know? Isiah would have been the man fired that summer. Yet his arrogance and his obvious declining lucidity did him in and rightfully so. No excusing that behavior no way.

I just don't see the retroactive love fest for Larry. It's downright unhealthy.
