Well, to justify the 20% rise in ticket sales (yep, 20%) the PR dept was in full effect stating "It was a bad 2 weeks, all is good!"

They can use the Mets PR spin meisters to just tell fans "Hey, it's just been a bad 72 game stretch. Other than that we have a lot to be proud of. Go buy your tickets!".

Here's the kicker, though:

Even if they did do that, despite ALL the outrage of how INSULTING that would be...fans would still show up. And that is why change won't take place.
