Deep down I feel this will happen and it's probably the most steaming thought throughout all of this. Dolan is bent on not firing this FRAUD. We're in prime lottery position and will be here for the duration of the season. He's called out Marbury and Curry, 2 players with checkered pasts who've been vilified throughout their careers. Players who could be scapegoated directing attention away from himself when dealing with an idiot like Dolan and even plenty idiotic Knick faithful. Along the way we'll manage to tease during this gut wrenching 82gm season and he'll still be the coach/gm of the team by season's end. The main sticking point to keeping him will be because of his overrated drafting prowess. We'll more than likely win in the Lottery and he'll be the man responsible for picking the talents of Derrick Rose/Beasley/Mayo/Jordan etc etc.
He'll then make this grandiose announcement on draft night "The Knicks have been waiting a long time for this moment to happen and we now have a Once In A Lifetime Talent, a True Franchise Player to Start Rebuilding around.
The Sapps, Pollies, Homers, Apologists, NITWITS, will eat this up and turn this into him saving/bringing this Franchise back to a proud state.
I don't like this attempt at being HOODWINKED, SWINDLED, BAMBOOZLED, TAKEN FOR FOOLS.
In the end who feel he get's the last laugh?

What people do not realize is that Dolan thinks Isiah is in charge of the Rangers too. So to him, he's doing great in that regard so what's the big deal, man?
And I'll believe that top pick when I see it. I still say we end up with a turkey pick, like #9. :/
