I know this isn't possible, but I would like for the Knicks to put together a combination of Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin.
You've all heard about Derrick Rose being the best pure PG (the anti-Marbury) in the draft, but not everyone is familiar with Blake Griffin, a freshman PF at Oklahoma. This is from his NBAdraft.net high school profile. Being the best player on the floor at any given time, he has learned to effectively pass out of double and triple teams... A coach's son, Blake definitely has the mental game and winning attitude it takes to become a great player. His high school team is seeking its fourth straight state championship this year and has lost only a couple games the past three seasons... A fiery, emotional leader, the team undoubtedly goes as he goes... He has an almost mindless killer instinct and intensity level, giving 110% every time he steps foot on the court... He doesn't rebound consistently well, but averages 7.8 in under 26 minutes a game. He's like the anti-Curry. A Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin combination sounds similar to the Stockton/Malone, Nash/Amare, Payton/Kemp dynamic. While it is true that hasn't yielded a championship quite yet, I do like David Lee and Jamal Crawford. If the Knicks can acquire Artest in the offseason, get him and I would love life. In three years, that team would kick ass. [Edited by - supremecommander on 12-16-2007 3:38 PM] DLeethal wrote:
