The number 1 reason why IT should go is the absolute lack of a plan. If we had young promising players that he was accumulating that just needed time to gell--fine. But he has rag-tagged this thing together with the help of an open credit card looking for the next thrill trade at any point. I thought we possibly had something we could build on with some of the play last year--with Curry getting much better and the likely fact that we imploded because of injuries to Lee and Crawford. We had a promising-looking summer league team--looked like guys we could add to the balance of the team. But true to IT's form he made a deal that changed the whole complexity of the team--changed the chemistry and it shows quite badly. Tonight's soup de jour or the best players on the floor were NOT even part of last years team. Jones a throw in Zach --something from left-field that has thrown off everything this team has potentially going. The plan that ?mightve been in place is dead--there is no plan. He has helped turn Curry into sht --a guy who averaged 25 points 9 rebounds 65% last year when he played over 35 minutes. Now he cant dunk the ball.

He does not deserve to do anything else. I do think things can be salvaged but this year is going to easily be a lottery year and they have to accept that. It's very important to develop Chandler Collins and Balkman with a plan of keeping Randolph Lee Crawford and Jones and getting rid of everything else. We need a coach will instruct Jamal to shoot less--pass more and only take high % shots in the flow of a game. We have to accept a step back to the steps back and that Curry Randolph will never work. We will now have to take a LOWER price for Curry[although we need time to build him right back up in terms of value] I think it's best for Curry to go to the bench to build his confidence against second line Cs and then find a spot where he can come in and give us a 30-10.Right now starting him is a mistake.

I think we need to get faster and there are guys at the top of this draft In combination with developing some of the players here--it could change us quicker than people think. It's not a situation where things completely need to be blown up--rather we need a competent fresh voice from a new GM and coach who have a better gameplan for the team. IT only wants to make sure he can validate his moves at this point--that is why he is NOT doing what is best for Curry by benching him and mandating he lose some weight. We have to see what these guys can give--we need to give our young players developmental time. We must capitulate the necessity to win with whatever they thought was going to win and reinvent themselves using players on the roster who have minimal roles--see what they can do this year[and i think the garden will appreciate this] and at this point we could really use an infusion of young superior type talent many of these teams who have gotten better quickly with have brought in. Curry is a goner--he's gone he cant be part of this--but they have to work his value back up. IT should have no part of this. They can have Herb coach out the season while they take their time finding the right people with the help of persons outside of Steve Mills and whoever else makes those decisions.

having no plan has been this guy's MO since he got here... why does the greatest sports market in the world have to deal w/this nonsense???

i completely agree w/u that it doesn't require a complete blowup rebuild to fix this mess... we just need someone w/a damn clue to make some smart trades & acquisitions to fill in the blanks & cull some of the excess baggage that have no place on this roster... there are some serviceable players on this roster, they just need some type of leadership & some parts to balance it out.

I'd actually say Isiah and Dolan do have a very clear plan: Get as many high profile names who can bring in instant cash as possible. We just don't like the plan.
