'we' means negative

for example:

"We didn't have smart play," Thomas said. "When you have a team out in transition, making layups, it is kind of difficult to make stops we need to make. ... We are not a good team and we have to get better."

'i' means positive

for example:

"If there's one thing that I hope all of you know about me, or will learn about me, I fight till I die," he said after Tuesday's practice. "It's not about giving up or quitting. To me it's win or die. And I literally mean death. I don't mean walk away. I mean death. And that's how I approach it."


"we" are not a good team.
"i" don't quit.

Sometimes we make lame and obvious posts. We don't think things through before we post them. We're not good posters, and we need to get better.

If there's one thing I hope you know about me, it's that I'm a really cool dude. Its about being cool or not being cool. I mean literally not cool. I don't just stop posting. I stop being so doggone cool.

Isiah after last night's game:

"A lot of things can be said about me and the teams that I have coached and the way I played," Thomas said after a 119-92 pounding from a 13-12 Pacers team. "But I have never been accused of not having heart or competing. Tonight was very discouraging to me because we didn't collectively play with heart and compete like I know I do."

Isiah throws the entire team under the bus while he manages to compliment himself, several times, and shy away from any culpability for this mess.

Pure genius.
