I think the only way to fix this team is to have Charles Dolan step in and fire his son and Isiah. He should then have a firesale and get rid of everybody except balkman and chandler and crawford. Hopefully he can get a high first round pick for a offer of curry/randolph and lee and nate for a top 5 pick (Memphis and the Heat are canidates becasue they are trying to win now to keep their star players). We should draft Derrick Rose with our pick becasue we will be awful, and then draft DeAndre Jordan with the second first round pick. And for the 2008-2009 season send out a starting 5 of rose, crawford, chandler, balkman, jordan. That lineup is freakishly atheletic and potentially good, but not this year. And we wind up winning about 34 games, placing us in the top 10 for the 2009 draft. Then we should jsut draft Darrel Arthur (right now projected to go 9) and establish a starting 5 of rose crawford balkman arthur and jordan. I think we all have heard what rose can do at the pg position, and then crawford brings the scoring to the table. Balkman, Arthur, and Jordan are all known for their athleticsim and defense, although Arthur has a polished offensive game to go along with it. Scouts compare Jordan to a Dwight Howard, he is 7'1 and has tremendous athletic ability, he is a great rebounder and defender. He makes his offensive living on dunks and offensive rebounds. Arthur kind of reminds me of KG a little. Although he is only 6'9/6'10, he is very athletic and makes spectacular dunks. He also possesses a lethal turn around jumper anywhere within 15 ft of the basket, and is a good rebounder and defender as well. Against the big men of Florida (noah, horford, and richards) he put up 19 pts and 9 rebounds.

I think a starting lineup of
Rose
Crawford
Balkman
Arthur
Jordan

can dominate the league for years.

And it's been done before (seattle got 2 top 5 picks last year....)
