It's clear to me that Isiah is staying. So what's the best thing to do next? Put all of it behind us and play basketball, win or lose.

I'll never trust this' team again.

The Knicks suck. The fans have a right to boo. The booing affects the team. The team will play better if they arent on the verge of being bood every game.

All this is fact.

Another 2 weeks and I will stop following up this thing.
It is too boring already.
After things will get settled The Product will produce it's 33 wins norm and suck its way into long offseason.
I am kind of puzzled why people are wasting money on tickets. But hey... it’s a big city.
You can always find 10-15 thousand random people.

everything that can be said has been said, there is nothing new anymore. The lovers have gone into hibernation as there is nothing to defend, and the haters have no more hate add to whats been done.

It is what it is and will make a good movie/book one day. Im glad Anucha got her money and maybe the team can move forward from it with our without Isiah.

I kind of think the best thing to do is really buy out Marbury in a few weeks and then let Isiah go by February. I hate if he got his money but Larry got his and Dolan don't care about it. ISiah will need to go away for a while and maybe do pacer broadcasts or maybe do some saturday PBS popcorn thing for kids. Who cares, he is a disaster as a GM.

I've lost interst some time ago but just like keeping up on the soap opera with disbelief.

4949, what's up with the late stories today, man?

This story was reported in the local papers late last night and this morning. The source of the Yahoo piece is from today's Berman piece about the game in the Post. I think Howard Beck from the Times was the first to get the story published just before 11pm last nigh, and AI grabbed it from the RealGM Newswire:

We know it's fact, but after awhile it's 'lunacy'! The A. Brown factor is over and it's time to move on.

I was trying to use it as a way to make a point about moving on. I know I was late with a couple other articles, but I would have to do major searches in some of these threads to see if they are there already. No time and no patience. Sorry.

There's nothing to move on from though. There is no chilling out and enjoying what they give us.

They stink, we're tired of it, we deserve better, and for the most part we're in a holding pattern just waiting for the inevitable day that Isiah gets fired.

This team is not going to get better. AT best they might give you a couple of weeks of .500 play. They're not going to crawl out of this hole and make the playoffs. They're not going to improve through trade or due to more time and be good next season.

This team is trash and it needs to be torn down. In the meantime all we have is to watch them stink up the place and boo them for doing so.

The only way to chill and move on is to ignore them completely until the day you hear Isiah got fired.

for 100 plus a ticket, the fans have every right to voice the displeasure of watching these losers half ass it every night.....

crawford comes out and says they don't play with effort (and he never plays defense) that should never be an issue

very well said. But it is tough as a fan, like we all are, to wait, and hope and build up excitement until the season starts, just to have it ruined, and for the owner to tell you that he is going to do nothing about it...That hurts bro... I watch because I am still a fan, but i have no expectations of this team. I have been watching other teams even more of late, I can't believe 20 games into the season, and I can't wait until draft night... wow...

Yeah this team disintegrated faster than the speed of light. I'm fortunate enough to not had my feelings hurt because I expected failure just not quite in the fashion it has surfaced. I had the team going 5-10 to start te month I got that right and had them going 4-11 this month. Oh well we have a bad team, and an even worse mgmt, and an even worse environment, and an even worse culture.

yea, what bothers me most is the lack of hope. I mean there is absolutely no hope. No hope for dolan to replace Isiah, no hope for isiah to bench some of these starters, and no hope of any smart moves in the near future. I mean, what you see, is what you get, and will be getting for the forseable future... and that is just disgusting...

You're right just like the other day when speaking on Malik's situation I SAY UGH said "We Like What We Have You Just Have To Do A Better Job With The Pieces We Have. I Don't Anticipate Making Any Moves We'll Play The Players We Have."

I'm like no one can trust this Serpent but could he be telling the truth because Dolan has tighten up the screws in what the Son Of The Lie can do?

Our management team doesn't want to hold the coahces and players accountable. They are also hoping the fans won't hold them accountable either.
I just hope that people will like me

They do when they don't um... "fall in line" (see Camby, Sprewell, Brown, etc.).

The biggest problem with the knicks is Isiah. and here is why. He can't bench his starters, these guys he spent all this money on, because doing so, will be admitting failure, even though it may be for the better of the team..... Isiah the GM is not going to stab Isiah the coach in the back... NO WAY!

so that leaves us with the same guys who have done nothing to improve this team. So my question is, why should these guys, play any better? through all the threats, the benching of guys like marbury, the boos, the blowouts, the humiliation, the coaching changes, after all of this over the past 3 years, why would these guys, just wake up one morning and decide to play better? why? they still are going to play and get their checks twice a month!!!

Sounds like the last year or two under Layden. No hope.

It should be against the law for a cable company to own a sports franchise. What do we expect? The cable company charges whatever the hell they want and they don't really think you're going to leave them. You want MSG but don't wanna pay for all those extra channels ... tough luck, they make you shell out all that money for one channel. It's the price of entertainment. They run the Knicks the same way. You don't like something? Too bad. What are you gonna do - Leave? Unlikely.

So the alternatives are to switch allegiances or to go without. Go with DSL / Satellite / The nets... or a new Hobby.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
