Isiah has done a poor job this year coaching the team...Where is the pick and roll with Marbs and Zach...Curry would be my main go to guy on the offensive end because Zach will get his...Marbs should have been benched the entire west coast trip after his stunt...I think he lost the team at that point and haven't regained control...There were a few instances where he pulled the hot hand from the game this year...The team needs a new voice, the team needs new leadership, the needs to play hard and win some games and this coach isn't getting it done....

Dolan may not be ready to part with Isiah but he can save the season by taking Isiah off the bench and putting him back upstairs...Let's give Herb is shot, maybe Carlisle or some young fresh voice with enthusiasm...This team has lost their way and so has Isiah...

I've been thinking about this... Why does Thomas have to coach this year? I thought he didn't want to be the coach of the team. Last year was about proving that this group of guys could be coached to a better record than the 23 wins under LB. Once that was proved, why couldn't Isiah hire a new coach?

https:// It's not so hard.

I think we should just finally put all of the crap that we've been dealing with this season all behind us now. I think this team can just go out and play basketball now. I think they should just go out there and do what they' do best as individuals and support each other, to win as many games as possible, without getting all hyped up anymore. Just play the game and do your best and you'll be alright. We aren't the only ones to have a bad program for several years. The Knicks have been through this many times in the past and have gotten into the playoffs and eventually won two championships. I think Isiah has been beat'n to a pulp already and it's clear that Dolan isn't going to move on anything. I think it is time to just let them play basketball and stop with all of the negativity. Even if we continue to lose, there's nothing you can do about it, so let them play. What more can be done to this team (don't say it)? I for one am going to sit back and direct my energy in hoping they can come together and just play the game and hopefully pull a decent record by years end. I beleive we have come full circle and for the better of all, wait for change to finally come within the next couple of years.

No more trading for Kobe for me. No more Bynum vs. Channing reports from me. No more bashing our players over the head for me anymore. If it happnes, then it happens and if it doesn't, well then there's not much you can do. As a human being, we can only take so much of this. No use in burning yourselves out. I think it's time for the Knicks to be Knicks again. All is foregiven with me. Now lets play basketball and hope for the best. Salvage what we have left and at least keep our dignity.
I'll never trust this' team again.

No coach could get this garbage to play better than .400. These are players who don't want to do the dirty work to help the the team. They've been that way every year, on every team, under every coach.

Who is not allowing them to play basketball? I saw all games and nobody jumped on the court, it was no beverages spilled and no object thrown.
Crowd was cheering when The Product was putting this round thing in the hole more that 5-6 times in a row after opponents "No, No ,No , Brick" 5-6 times in a row...
They can eat anything they want and as much as they want.
They can go home AWOL when they want and can play if they fell like it.
So what the problem?

The team sucks. There is no season to save. If it took you this long to come to the realization that Thomas needs to be fired, then well...I don't know what to say.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

You know I think Isiah is tanking. I think he wants what is in the draft and knows that the Knicks will be better off getting the pick this year. You know what I want this draft more than the last few drafts. I Know the Knicks aren't going anywhere this year and weren't going to win any championship but with a possible budding superstar the Knicks might be better off. They need a leader and I think this draft has a few that might be capable of leading the Knicks. Lets keep the losing going and get that pick.

Sounds like a plan.
I think we can do it.

dude, this team has quit on its coach twice in the last two years. Why in god's name would you want to bring in a new coach to coach this same team?

I don't think some of the players have quit but I do know that Marbury has quit once already and that is what brought the team down in the first place. As long as he is the NYK pg you weren't going to win anything no need to bother with that. The goal is set and the draft is the focus here unless the Knicks win 10 in a row. As of right now the draf tis what is keeping me going. Cleveland did a blatant job of tanking and they were rewarded with LeBron, why can't the KNicks just for one year tank. They still have some decent players to put around their number one pick. Cleveland got rewarded nicely so did the Spurs why not the KNiciks.

I'm curious how you envision this relationship between GM and coach working.

Does Isiah get to make key players more powerful than the coach?
Does Isiah get to don sweats and lead practice to show up the coach?
Does Isiah get to come into the locker room to make half-time tirades to show up the coach?
Does Isiah get to choose all the assistant coaches to show up the coach?
Does Isiah get to show up the coach by lording over him from the tunnel?
Does Isiah get to undermine the coach by telling him what line-ups to play?
Does Isiah get to undermine the coach by making trades the coach opposes?
Does Isiah get to actively or passively encourage his "franchise" players to undermine the coach thru the media?
Does Isiah get to make dumb trades and blame the coach?
Does Isiah get to keep the coach in extended lame duck status while he shops around for replacements?
Does Isiah get to fire coaches every year?
Does Isiah get to have the coaches removed from the premises by security?

Just wondering if the normal rules will apply, because I feel like we've been there and done that already to poor result.

Fresh, don't you get that Isiah is as bad or worse as GM as he is as coach? This team and their 33, 23, 33 win history is his doing. There are no more saviors or scapegoats.

We need a GM, not a megalomaniac.

It could happen. but it also may not happen. the lottery is just that. a lottery. I don't believe the nba in any way riggs the results. cleveland blantaly tanked and it just so happened to work. boston blatantly tanked and it just so happened that it didn't. It's the luck of the draw. I agree that this team's true hope lies in the lottery but Isiah and co. don't agree. I don't think he is tanking games, this team is just crappy. Isiah may even trade this year's lottery pick in order to make the playoffs. He doesn't know what's best for this team in the long run.

You just can't believe Isiah is as bad as he is. Do you seriously think a humiliating 23 win season, followed by a floundering 33 win season, followed by a devastating sexual harassment conviction was enough to give isiah extended job security? It wasn't, and lame ducks like Isiah don't tank. A good showing is the only thing to keep Isiah afloat.

The reality is, their objective was to "steal some shiny stuff" and this is the best they can do. Isiah and Marbury have derailed this team every year and this is no exception.

Reguardless even if the Knicks don't get the top three pick their record if it is just bad will be rewarded at least the 4th pick. This draft has potentially 6-8 impact players in it. They need that guy that will replace Marbury because I don't see Marbury being a KNick next year. Buyout will most likely occur. Isiah won't trade the pick unless its an impct player that is availble and there is only one that I would consider impact player that wants out and he may have changed his mind.

With every fan in NYC screaming 'fire Isiah', I'd say it's pretty hard to concentrate at this point. And really, I was referring to putting the Anucha situation behind us and feeling like a fresh start. Don't get me wrong, I want the dude gone as much as anyone else, but this whole think can make a few people very sick. I'm looking for sanity again inside my self.
I'll never trust this' team again.
