We Probably need to start with that one player superstar first.

You can't rebuild through the draft in NY. Isiah said so.

Seriously, what was the point of the last 4 years if you're now looking to build through the draft? Why would you have faith in this same management?

Isiah needs to trade for another pick, preferably a lotto pick (hence making a trade with Milwaukee, Miami or Charlotte fot their pick.) This draft is pretty deep and there is a chance to fill to holes with this team. There is a chance to get a much needed backcourt player with our own pick (Rose, Gordon, Mayo) and getting a defensive bigman torwards the end of the lotto (Thebeet, Jordan, Harding).

isiah can not be the guy making the decisions. he has no concept of how to build a team. if we acquire more picks, he will probably draft 2 more pf's to play behind zach and lee.

isiah really doesn't have a clue what he's doing...and that's shocking.

or he'll draft a below average talented small foward or he'll get a combo guard with a lot of deficiencies. His drafting has been ultra overrated and has actually hurt the team almost as much as his trades.

i think thomas draft real well
what he's doing with these player is something else
unfortunately
he might have to lose a talent
like steph cause cancer kills
curry might be cancerous zbo too
if they must all go to turn things around soo be it
death in the family is not a reason for the team to suck
take time oof do what you got to do but this is what you get paid to do
this is new york
have pride or get lost
man for curry to be so strong he's reallly a itch out there
anyone can push him out the box for boards
even pg he might be gay
half the team might be gay
maybe thats stephs secret
thomas picks gay players and pays them alot to do the do

I really dont see any Franchise Players in the up coming draft. Very good players that can become superstars yes but not Franchise players

6-13

to surpass last season's totals of 33 wins, they need to go 28-35.

to get to 41 wins and probably the playoffs, they need to go 35-28.

It's sad that this team is so bad that I don't think they're capable of going 28-35!

we're looking at a mid 20 win total- unbelievable.

I could see this season being turned around- but it comes after isiah is fired and dolan has shown no inclination to fire him.

we own our pick this year and next - if we tank this year and next, make some smart trades, we could be in a position to put a contending type team out there

we owe Phoenix a pick that becomes unprotected in 2010 i think... so unless we make the playoffs within the next 2 years, we're looking at giving up another lottery pick to put the icing on the cake in the ill-fated Marbury trade.

Isiah will probably say that the dominant force that Curry will become more than makes up for the pick we give up in ANY trade.

But seriously, I think we need to make some minor trades to get back an extra pick to shove Phoenix's way. Our team is a disaster as is and it will be a bit** to rebuild; we will need all the first rounders we can get our hands on.

The pick is ultimately owed to Utah - and at this moment, I've got to believe they are planning on it being in the lottery in 2010. They may not be counting on it, but they're not taking a mid year pick from us sooner- don't even know if its possible.

Briggs suggested sending the chandler pick to utah over the summer ahead of schedule- again, that would have been predicated on them accepting it and it being allowed.
