i'd go with kaman at 9, marcus at 39. marcus, it's a gamble, but guy is huge and has low post moves. kaman, if he's available, we're going to draft him, period.

pass/pass

Marcus for the all geriatric team Just what we need... wasn't there a thread around here recently talking about the fact the guy may never play again? When we get a stiff, let's at least get a healthy stiff.

Chris Marcus really loves to play basketball.. he really does. He just doesn't want to do the things he needs to do to play it at the highest level. If your ankles are chronically injured.. maybe you should lose 40lbs to take some strain off??? maybe? just maybe. This guy won't be picked until very late or he'll be a FA.

The purpose? Height, height, and more height. We need it now more than ever. I dont want to go though another season with Travis Knight as our tallest intimidator. The more centers we pick up in the draft, the better. If we have four picks (possibly one from Houston) and we choose centers with all of the picks than we have to at least hit the jackpot with one of them. The odds are at the very least, one of them are going to be able to help us.

The espn insider on Kaman's workout with the raptors a couple of days go was not good at all. They said he was out of shape and really slow.
With that said here are the top 6 guys i want in order:
1. Pavel
-----------
2. Lampe
3. Sweetney
4. Kaman
5. Sofoklis
6. Nick Collison

Sweetney could actually handle center, he's like Big Ben, Lampe can't, but i don't want to miss out on the next dirk/gasol.

I like Collison he's a hard worker with a solid frame, they talk about him being the next Gugliota before he got injured.
