honestly how do you believe Zach and Curry will co-exsist? Look at the tape hard and watch when they are in there together. If one has the ball the other is still to close to the lane which clogs it up and the same guy WITHOUT the ball is doing nothing--he's not moving--he's just making it harder on the guy with the ball to go into his moves. It's not going to work--yes there is some superior talent that will work on that alone but it wont = winning consistently. If were going to keep both Im with Jamal Mashburn--let EC and David Lee start like last year and use Randolph as a third big[6th man type like kevin mchale used to do] if things are going well with Lee and Curry[which have good synergy together] then Zach plays 20-24 minutes. If things are not going well Zach can increase those minutes if he is going well. Together it looks like a mosh posh.

I've said it before i'll say it again, we gotta get NY's own JAMAL MASHBURN as our next GM.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

This team would have been a better team if we would have kept Frye and let Curry be the focal point of this team.

This team would have been a better team if we would have kept Frye and let Curry be the focal point of this team.

Nothing to do about what ifs etc..

David Lee has been averaging 14 points 8 rebounds shooting 67% in his last 3 games.
When he has played more than 30 minutes which has been a whole 4 times this year
32:29 7 10 70.0 0 0 0.0 2 3 66.7 4 7 11 1 2 3 0 1 16
37:59 4 6 66.7 0 0 0.0 5 5 100.0 0 7 7 0 1 0 1 3 13
49:54 8 12 66.7 0 0 0.0 8 10 80.0 5 11 16 1 2 2 0 4 24
39:05 6 15 40.0 0 0 0.0 2 2 100.0 2 12 14 0 3 1 1 4 14

avg 16.3 pts 12 rebounds 58%

IF we LEAVE Lee and Curry in for 36 minutes each and give Zach 24--the numbers will work in our favor. Also--if we accept Q rich shooting 30% we're going to lose at that position every night. I'd like to see the Knicks go out and make a subtle little trade--like walter Hermann from Charlotte and stick him into the starting 3 slot. Give them nate and 2mm$ or something.

I suggested in another thread we go after Bogut and try to upgrade the sf position, after wacthing last night's game I think Dalembert is an option also.We can still stay in the playoff race if we get a defensive upgrade at the center and run the offence thru Zach.Any thoughts?

I wouldn't mind the knicks keeping Randolph and Lee. With Lee and Randolph as our big men, we have much bigger holes to fill then pf/c. IF Jerome came back healthy, I think he could start at center, and give us 10 minutes a game. He can block a few shots, and as we have Lee, Randolph, and Balkman to play upfront, we wouldn't need much from him.

I'd like to see what Curry could get turned into.

This is a great analysis of what's really going on. It comes down to Isiah not using his roster properly. Yeah we would love for guys to be smart enough to know what to do and just execute, but in this case the minutes have to be redistributed. I didn't like the idea of letting Zach stay out there and embarrass himself like that. Isiah has to read the situation better. When Zach is under control and going good then you leave him in, but when he looks like he did last night you have to pull him.

I know Curry has been a very spotty defender, but it appears that he's losing his confidence and aggression offensively too. We can't have that, since that's his biggest contribution. He did pass out of the doubles better, but overall he still has a long way to go in that regard. He's been looking to block shots more too, but again he's been lazy on getting back on D and teams have exploited that.

At SF we lose every single night and I thought that was the reason we added Chandler. If he can't do anything at all, which is what Isiah seems to be suggesting, then a move to add a SF would make sense. It's just hard for me to believe that he's that bad. I hadn't seen even a hint of that in his short time on the floor. In fact how do we know what he'll do if he never plays? All I saw when Chandler played was a guy that seemed to play well defensively, could shoot, run the floor and even lead the break. He got steals and blocked shots and rebounded. I'm not sure what it is that Isiah is scared will happen if the kid plays a few minutes a night to get his feet wet and build confidence.

I have to blame Isiah for the way this team has played. It seems to me that he very rarely makes a move that improves the teams play during a game. It happens now and then, but more often his moves don't make sense. Jones made him look good on a few occassions. Balk and Nate haven't been as impactful as they have in the past. I just get the feel that there's no rhythm to the rotations and the team is disjointed.

Isiahs a fool. He never plays Morris our "Real first round pick" and Wilson can't be as bad as Q is. Lee should definitely play as well as Nate. The same Nate who was called the best player in camp, is the player Isiah decides to make an example out of by sitting!!!!

He is an ASS!!!!!!!!!!!

Briggs: I really like that hermann guy, big hands, he is long, can score and is a willing defender... I also love dorell wright... the heat could use marbury, especially last night, they just blew that game vs GS... I would send them marbs for Dorell and JW and a protected top 3 pick. we can let JW walk and have dorell and possibly the heats lottery pick, if the heat insist on balkman, I throw him in..

I would then move zach to the mavs for some package involving harris/ a pick and fillers to make the salary work..

That is a start...

You know Briggs is waiting by the phone for some NBA team to hire him and discover his keen insight to the NBA game .

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I could not watch it once.

The Propoganda about Marbury was really bad. They show him having a good time then later when he is either pissed he is not playing or really reflecting on his loss they start talking about how difficult it must be for him. Im sure he is hurting, but it was really bad television and in bad taste.

Perhaps if the team really was trying to win one to make him feel better and showed some spirit I could go along with it. This group collectively does not give a crap about a thing relevent to winning on the court.

I turned it off with 9 min to go our of bordom. When Iggy tourched Craw for an "and one" and got in his grill with craw just rolling over on himself and showing his belly then peeing on himself like a submissive dog I just lost my interest. Craw don't got fight but he don't have to be submissive either!

I guess trying to rally around your azzhole point guard for his loss is hard when you don't like the guy a bit anyway.

The whole Phuching thing is a massive piece of crap. They can't even mourn a players dad right!

I'm a big believer in statistics in sports--and I know many of the people who own the Boston teams are too.. I also understand you need a style of play with a coach and players who can implement it. It's not about this guy gets the max trading max player for max player and jobbing it together. There has to be a calculated direction--one that we didn't take. James Dolan would be happy to call me--one I would work for free--I don't need his money--two I would cut payroll and have a much better product within 1 year. Third--there would never be crp like anucha or anything else and 4 EVERY player would be mandated to be in premium shape at all times.

They lost last night because Zach played like crap, he missed countless point blank shots. This had nothing to do with the pairing of Curry and zach, Zach was a no show.
