The list is self-explanatory and culled from the Western Conference alone:

Dan Dickau
Tony Parker
Antoine Walker
Earl Watson
Steve Blake
Beno Udrih
Mike James
Anthony Carter
Sasha Vujacic
Jason Terry

Well, it's not that big of a deal, b/c we all know that it's no shame to have Dan Dickau, the greatest shotblocker ever, ahead of you. Same thing as Earl Watson.

Grow up.

Zach will always be ground-bound and a somewhat disinterested defender.
Who expected him to block shots?
I just want him to shoot from the blocks.

On the other hand, Curry has a few more than Zach.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

It would be interesting to see how many guards have more blocks than Zach and Eddy COMBINED.

And the Knicks are getting out-blocked by their opponents 6.0 to 2.9

People have to realize that Isiah has put together a team that has no defensive presence whatsoever. How can you win multiple games?
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

This just 6-7 extra points.
Z-bo and EY should compensate this on offense.
They have 5.3 TO per game combined - another 8-10 points.
They can kind of compensate this too.
But combined efficiency of this 2 guys is close to "0". Factorial.

Defense is over rated. We're the Suns East remember? We just out score our opponents. We're unstoppable so we don't have to ever worry about stopping the opponent. That's why we're 12-6 and playoff bound!

0

Actually 2 guards

Z-Bo + EY
0.13 + .65
- 0.78 BPG

PLAYER NAME, TEAM NAME GP MPG BLK PF BLKPG BLKP48M BLK/PF
1 * Kevin Durant , SEA 20 34.1 26 38 1.3 1.83 .68
2 Dwyane Wade , MIA 12 35.7 10 32 .83 1.12 .31

4 guards have more blocks that Eddy and more that 50 more blocks that Zack

I was just kidding. I think you're taking the post too literally.

Shot-blocking and shot-altering are both crucial and highly correlated, even though only shot-blocking shows up on the stat sheets. My guess is that if Eddy and Zach blocked and altered shots at a normal rate for big men, we'd be giving up at least ten fewer points per game.

"Have more blocks" - not "Have a higher block per game average"

Wade has 10 blocks on the season while Curry and Randolph have 13 combined.

And I don't consider the 6-9 "G/F" Durant a guard.

(None of this, of course, changes the fact that our interior defense is a complete abomination)

I don't see what everyone is getting so worked up about. It's just a few blocks. Sometimes Zach will get a block, and more often he won't. You just deal with it and go on to the next one.

It probably would have been more realistic to ask which starting back courts average more blocks/game combined than our starting PF/C front court. (Then you're comparing 2 players in both cases.)
