And only 3 games out of the FOUR seed? Would a first-round match up with Toronto be enough of an improvement over last year's lottery finish for you haters to eat humble pie?

Of course not.

You Barbara Buzz-kills can cry all you want. The knicks haven't played their best basketball yet. They've probably already played their worst. They're working in a major frontcourt acquisition into their starting line up and it's only 17 games in.

re-phuckin'-lax and enjoy what's already been a season for the ages.

Making the playoffs guarantees Isiah remains here for the remainder of his contract which would only be a detriment to the franchise. That, and we would again get a low draft pick and be unable to actually rebuild.

We're only 9 games out of having the best record in the NBA. Over the course of an 82 game season, making up 9 games is nothing. That's barely 10% of a season. You haters really need to chill.

Except that we're going to win JUST enough games to make sure we have a shot at the next Sweetney or Frye.

AND, likely enough games to cite "evident progress" so Isiah gets to make his blockbust Marbury Expiring for LaFrentz and Darius Miles trade and coach the entire 08/09 season too!!!!!

Hell' Dolan might extend Isiah's contract again, if he even wins 20 games this year. A total that would somehow seem like a tremendous improvement to Dolan.
