They are terrible. 4-14. Even if they add a PG I don't think they're gonna be able to turn themselves around. The problem is they've got Shaq and Shaq isn't half the player he used to be. He can't even play 30 mins, can't really stay healthy and his skills have eroded a little bit. He was the most physically gifted force of all time, but all that size is hard to maintain I guess.
So what should they do? They obviously have to rebuild their core and Shaq with his age is not reasonably a part of it. Who can take on that contract?
Can Shaq still help a team get closer? Who really has the contracts to match up with that anyway?
Well the Knicks do have Marbury....Okay...didn't mean to scare ya!

Can they make a run with a fully healthy Wade and maybe trading their expirings (Davis and Williams) for someone like Andre Miller. The whole team seemed sort of forked when I've watched them this year.

I would seriously consider this deal since we are capped to hell.....
Incoming Players Daequan Cook 6-5 SG from Ohio State 11.2 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 0.6 apg in 20.4 minutes Shaquille O'Neal 7-1 C from Louisiana State 15.0 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 1.1 apg in 27.8 minutes Outgoing Players Nate Robinson 5-9 PG from Washington 8.1 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 1.8 apg in 18.6 minutes Fred Jones 6-2 SG from Oregon 5.2 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 1.5 apg in 19.3 minutes Jamal Crawford 6-5 SG / PG from Michigan 17.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 4.4 apg in 39.3 minutes Eddy Curry 6-11 C from Thornwood (HS) 16.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 31.1 minutes
Shaq always gets motivated when they count him out he is old, but legacy is a big deal to him and we are not giving up all that much, it gives the heat some new life.

Pat Riley isn't dumb he is going to go down with this group. He won't make any changes he knows another draft pick like Wade and the team is off and running again. JJust imagine Wade and Beasely together. That could be a nighmare for teams.
