Well it's in Philly so who knows.
I'm sure in the Garden people will leave it alone for a game.
In the end as FANS of the game and not Marbury Family Members you must separate the two. If he stinks I'm going to be critical of him. However, I do feel bad for his loss and hope he can overcome it.

They are two separate situations. If we were to hold ourselves to a moral rule that you can't be critical of a player or a team who had lost a loved one then debating sports would cease to exist entirely because there is not a player nor a team who has not suffered a loss and a recent one at that.

They are separate. If he sucks on the court he should be criticized.

Come on, people aren't that heartless. As ruthless as people say we are in this area, we do have hearts. Even if he stunk up the court, I don't believe the majority of people would boo him. Of course you might some nut bags who can't realize what's more important during a time like this. It's only basketball..put it in perspective.
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

He'll probably be embraced the first couple of homegames, especially if the Knicks win tonight, but if the Knicks lose more, it will rather quickly go back to where it is. We do have some games that we should be winning, coming up. But who knows with the team we got! I remember at least one game we got killed by the Sixers on their homecourt, after the Iverson trade.

Just remember, the Knick fan is fickle, as Camby says, and it very well could be true. And that's all based on our inconsistencies, as well as Steph, so the Knick fan isn't gonna give Steph so much time, if we continue to be a bad team. He will hear it, Isiah will hear it, and the team will hear it. I still say we need to part ways.

It makes perfect sense that the fans would be kind to Stephon after he just lost his father. They aren't monsters. (Most of them anyway.)

After a suitable time it will be acceptable to resume booing Marbury, if he merits it.

What's funny is that some posters were passing on rumors that Steph said he'd never play another game as a Knick and that it was the Knicks, not Steph's sister, that decided not to tell Steph until after the game.
