2 games with Philly. You have to win. If all the talk of coming together and being "nice and nasty" is true. This is the time. You should not lose one of these games.

This is a mini-turning point. We can be as mediocre as 8-11 or as bad as 6-13.

7-12 aint ****.

Okay, lets say we beat Philly twice. We're still what 8-11? Where's that taking us? 8th seed or Bust? 9th, 10th, 11th place which is what it would be!?

What happened to wanting to contend for a title?

If anyone thinks that this team makes the 8th seed this year - and then BUILDS on that - they just don't want to face facts that the CEILING for this team and it's perennial losers IS THE EIGHT SEED and a FIRST ROUND EXIT.

Don't we want more? If the answer is yes, we want more, then you will view this team as an absolute disasterous compilation of career losers that will never EVER bring us to the NBA Finals and in that you'd want Isiah gone YESTERDAY and everybody that exceeds 2009 liquidated into 2009 assets.

If all you want to do is say "See, we made the playoffs, WHEW!!!!" then by all means support Isiah Thomas to trade yet again for somebody's elses overpaid crap and hope it is the catalyst to a long enough win streak to hit .500 and make the playoffs.

Cosmic chill out. The only one bringing up the words "Support Isiah" are you.

This is still MY team (**** Isiah) and MY entertainment, and I root for them to win every game. Otherwise I might as well not watch, not post, and not care.

Why do people always over react? At what point in my post did I say a mediocre finish is what I want????

This post is about the current team and the talk and what they said they can accomplish. If ever there was a time to take a step towards THEIR GOAL, this is it.

Some of you guys need to take a chill pill.

It's crazy sometimes here, If I had said "the Knicks should win the next two games" I probably would have gotten a similar response.

If I had said something like "what if Francis and Marbury can't work together" someone would have called me a hater.

I just can't handle the craziness.

Okay, allow me to rephrase. 2 games with Philly. You have to win. If all the talk of coming together and being "nice and nasty" is true. Tomorrow is the time. You should not lose one of these games.

Is it possible to edit the title and make it read: If ever there was a time to get back into the playoff picture it is tomorrow

What craziness? You mean the reality that we're a bad team?

So what if they can achieve their goal of the 8th seed. That's a terrible goal to have and quite possibly the only goal they can achieve if everything goes right for the rest of the season.

I sure hope you're honest when you say you're not happy with that. No fan of the Knicks should be. Maybe a Hawks fan or a Bobcats fan but NOT a KNICKS FAN.

Yes, those who are giddy over maybe being 8-11 and maybe fulfilling the dreamy landscape of squeaking into the playoffs only to get our brains beat in by a real team are on board with Isiah Thomas.

Beating the Kidless back-to-back playing Nets - or possibly beating a floundering Philly franchise in back to back games changes absolutely nothing with this team. They are still a poorly constructed mess that needs to be torn down.

I care not to get estatic over a terrible team possibly achieving it's lofty goals of 40 wins and a first round beat down.

What over-reaction? Where am I over-reacting? Yeah! So the Knicks ultimate ceiling is 40 wins and the playoffs and you want me to be happy as a fan that they *might* achieve that?

Sorry, I find that preposterous.

Holy Mackeral. How in the he-ll do you derive happiness or sadness from my post? I'm not even sure I understand the point of why you are upset. The team said at the beginning of the season that they will make the playoffs. That they will be nice and nasty. I made a post saying that if they want to achieve this goal the time to start moving towards that is now. At no point in time did I make an evaluation or offer an opinion as to how I feel about this goal. So where are you coming up with this. Why attach your own meaning to these words? You are behaving like Nixluva did during the Marbury/Francis chronicles, you are turning a statement or question into an opinion.

My opinion on the Knicks has been out there for a while.

1.) You can win with anyone on the roster as long as your roster is balanced(yes this includes Curry, Marbs, Jamal, Rodman, Rasheed etc.)
2.) The goal is championships in the long-term even if that means losses in the short-term
3.) I don't like the players on this team, but if they win I don't care about how I feel about them personally
4.) I hate Isiah and the moves he's made because they are short term in nature, but root for him everyday that he is here to turn it around
5.) Mediocrity(37-45 wins) does not make me happy, but while I'm here and watching the team play I will always be fair in my analysis even if I'm not happy with the final results.
6.) I do not feel the need to tear apart the team IN EVERY POST I MAKE in order to display my unhappiness with what is going on. My root opinions haven't changed regardless of whether I say something like "last night was a good win"

Anything else you need, besides the chill pill?

Why is it that every post I make evolves into such calamity? What am I doing wrong?

Tomorrow I will post a poll that says "will the Knicks win tonight?" and someone will come on and tell me that I'm an idiot for being happy with mediocrity.

Don't you understand we have all take a vow to hold our breath until Zeke and Marbs are run out of town on a rail. Until then no one is happy with minor accomplishments

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
