I don't get why you are so salty about this issue oohah? Nichols was a player that could have helped this team out with his shooting, yet he wasn't even given a fair chance to play. I don't think one person here thought he was going to be a superstar in this league, but he certainly had shooting ability and length from the guard position, something this team sorely needs.

I am amused.
Because this kid was given a good opportunity by the Knicks and he turned it down when he probably shouldn't have, yet it was made out like he was getting shafted. He was not getting shafted.
I don't hold it against him, it's his life and career and I wish him well. I root for all Big East players, even Marcus Williams.
But all the hoopla made about him here was beyond silly. He's not ready to contribute in the NBA yet, I think that has been established now. If he was, he would have been playing on the Cavs, they were short-handed. Meanwhile, he couldn't beat out Dwayne Jones for some minutes and I think Eric Snow still has a roster spot and he is injured.
Let's wish Nichols the best for his career, hope he catches on with some team or gets some NBDL burn, and most of all, let go of him...
