Knickerblogger designated this the worst article of 2007. I have to agree.

Well it starts with the headline being wrong, delves deep into shallow analysis, makes a lot of strange qualitative assessments and then tops it off with several factual errors. And then has the gaul to write a section entitled "Why James Dolan Doesn't Suck" based on the thesis that he's man of great moral fiber.

Yep, worst article of the year.

Interesting article. I equate that similar to the Cossellout one which was filled was exaggerations and strange opinions just to make things seem all rosy. He called this Knicks team more competitive than the finals team with Ewing, Camby, LJ, KT, Spree, Houston, Ward, Childs, etc... is just asking for dismissal. The problem is, and why I think some people can believe the things they write, is that at a glance, if you look at specific things, you can convince yourself to feel good about this team. The problems others of us have is that the flaws are too glaring to ignore.

That all being said, I'm in agreement with misterearl. A day and a half since the passing of Stephon Marbury's father, this probably isn't the time to bash the Knicks. Although it was an interesting read, mostly just to keep my mind off how badly I feel for the Marbury family.
