After the game, the knicks opened the locker room doors 10 minutes later than they usually do, and there were only 2 players remaining in the locker room (randolph and qrich). Randolph was about 30 seconds from leaving and q rich still had a while to go, so both gave interviews. And about 25 minutes later, it was reported that Marbury was in the locker room. Naturally all of the reporters flocked to him, and he was escorted out of the locker room by 5 security guards, while apparently yelling obscenities (not sure who they were directed towards).

This seemed very fishy to me, first why were the doors not opened immediately? Is there something going on that Isiah is keeping "in house". Second, after everyone was gone, why did marbury try to sneak back into the locker room, and more importantly why was he taken out and yelling obscenities?

I'm thinking someone got laid off, or was informed of a pending transaction.

It's just weird what these Knicks do....

We should be so lucky. He was probably handed his fine for leaving the team in Phoenix. (remember, that fine hadn't been handed down yet.) But who knows. Just when you think it cant get any worse....

Nothing is changing with Mebury gone. He's just the scapegoat. Isiah has to follow him out the door.

I heard he was throwing chairs. I wonder if he threw one at Isiah?

Hard to conclude much from that. There's no reason to think Marbury had left the building and come back - he could have been off somewhere else at MSG.

One possibility is that someone threatened him or his family. That would explain the security, and the shouting.

Maybe that's why he needs our prayers.

Just offering alternative explanations.
