Is it me, or did Allan wait almost 2 months until after the season. Why? Had he had the surgery right after the season, he could be ready to go by now. TO me this another quesstionable move by the NY team doctors and managment!

From the NY Daily News article: "According to the Knicks, Houston will be ready 'well before training camp.'"

Questionable move? This is no Shaq big toe surgery date.

One of my biggest pet peeves is the inevitable announcement after an athlete has surgery... you always here the same thing... i.e. Antonio McDyess today "underwent SUCCESSFUL surgery"... of course, it's not until months later when you find out the real deal.

I heard that Webber and Wallace on the kings had surgery done yesterday. The surgeon is well know all over the world. Why didn't the Knicks have him do Houston's and Dice's surgery. Dr. Norman Scott is a quack doctor everything he touches on the knicks turns to disaster. I have my fingers crossed hope Houston make it back healthy the odds are already stacked up against him.

I'm gathering Housless had surgery?
