Here is a mock draft of what will happen up to the 9th pick...

1. Cleveland - LeBron James - DUH
2. Detroit - Darko Milicic - DOH
3. Denver - Carmelo Anthony - HUH
4. Toronto - Chris Bosh - A frontline of Vincanity, Bosh and A. Davis is pretty good.
5. Miami - TJ Ford - Riley needs somebody to run the show.
6. LA Clippers - Pavel Podkilzine - Replacement for Kandi.
7. Chicago - Dwane Wade - SG is a must for their team.
8. Milwaukee - Chris Kaman - They need a center in the worst way.
9 . New York - Maciej Lampe - YIPEE!!!!

Then draft nothing but redwoods with our 3 2nd round draft picks. This is my value board for the 2nd round...

1. Malick Badiane
2. Travis Outlaw
3. Jerome Beasley
4. James Lang
5. Uche Nswondu-Amadi
6. Tommy Smith
7. Kendrick Perkins

... not bad, Bocker.

Luck? Again... don't forget who's making the decisions. History repeats itself... over and over and over.

The Bucks are very high on the point guards this year.

If Lampe isn't there...

Guys I like if we trade down....

Kaman, Pietrus, Boris Diaw , Pavlovic, Josh Howard, and Ebi.

Guys I like in the Second....

Luke Walton (6'9 point forward.. good role player), Moe Williams, Dahntay Jones, Kendrick Perkins.

True. They might pick Hinrich, but if I were them, I would pick Kaman then select either one of these PGs in the 2nd round with the 35th pick Marcus Banks, Zoran Planinic or Troy Bell.

I would only trade down with these teams
9th pick for Seattle's 12th and 14th pick

or with

Boston for the 16th, 20th pick, Eric Williams and Tony Battie for
the 9th pick, Spoon and Knight.

I wouldn't mind if the Knicks walked out of the draft with Pavel, Kaman, Lampe or Badaine. they need the triple H with their pick. Height, height and more height.

That's who I want in the second round. He's a guy that can play multiple positions and probably will play better simply because of his Basketball IQ. He's gonna be like Juan Dixon was last year....some team might take a chance on him in the 1st round.

By the way....Luke did have a good NCAA tourney. Darn near had a tripple double in the last game they lost....18pts,10rebs,6 assists on Kansas. Collison had his worst game scoring wise, getting 8pts and 9 rebs.

I don't know man. He is guilty by association. Anybody related to Walton I don't want. His constant scrutiny of the Knicks and LJ just turned me off.

If Luke Walton slips to the second round and we have the chance to take him with a second round pick I would do it in a second. The kid is ready to play in the NBA. And regardless of what people think of his dad - I like him, he only spoke the truth about how the Knicks suck.
