I'm hoping the team...
finishes with the worst record and gets the number 1 pick of the draft
squeezes into the playoffs

right now, I am less concerned with number 1 pick- top 3 or top 5 would be ideal-

the losses to me know equal wake up to dolan who might accept blame, fire isiah and get a real team of people in to set things right.

I think we need a top 5 pick for sure so at this point the losing won't hurt that much. This team needs help and winning more games, dropping in draft position, and not making the playoffs or even losing in rd 1 wont help.

I vote for draft picks - although whats out there for us in the draft this year?

It would be awesome if we got a top pick this year. Then we could trade it for an aging star looking to kick back and cash in at the end of his career.

I can't say I root for losses. But I everytime we lose I can allways fall back on the fact that we have our draft pickt this season.

Maybe we can actually acquire a real franchise player.

I would love to aquire another draft pick to so we could target Devon Hardin or Roy Hibbert as well.

Whoever choooses "squeezing into the playoffs" better realize its gonna be close to a first round sweep.

Going for the lottery is the more educated wish.

where's the option for "shows 'significant improvement' while finishing with a 30 win record"?

Oh I forgot that one. Had I consulted with Earl or Nix first, I'm sure I would have included that.

If i've gone on record many times as saying that I expect over .500 record, why would I ever accept a 30 win season as significant improvement? Both of the options for this thread are unacceptable. With one month complete you can't start thinking like this. You have to still look for the team to fulfill their highest potential. Each bad loss works against that, but then it's up to the team to make up for those bad losses, we shouldn't cut them any slack. The team is healthy and there are no excuses at this point for bad performances. Just go out and win games.

Besides finishing with the worst record doesn't guarantee the #1 or haven't you been paying attention?

42W - 26L... that's how this team needs to play from here on out to meet your 46 win expectation, nix... root all you want for it to happen, but it ain't gonna happen bro... reality sucks sometimes, i know.

I didn't say the worst record would guarantee the best pick. Look at the stem: "I'm HOPING that..." I asked if people are hoping that we get the worst record and also get the 1st pick. At least you're sticking to the above .500 part of your claim, although you did say before that you expected at least 46 and likely 50 wins
