Wow, a couple lists with no Stockton? Stockton would be my dictionary definition of a point guard.

man, if he were wearing Knicks orange & blue you'd be all over his jock like Tony Parker's nuts on Eva Longoria's forehead.

My biggest exception with any list here is Ward. Seriously, Ward? I can't tell you how much pain he caused me while watching him. He could play some D and had heart, but my god he couldn't do much of anything that resembled good PG play. Couldn't get in the lane, wasn't much more than just a basic ball handler and passer. Couldn't hit a layup or hit an open shot consistently (till he got much older). Had a knack for throwing diagonal bounce passes out of bounds.

Ugh.

like i said, i never rooted for many players on other teams... i can't say they were ever my favorites... i loved Charlie Ward... he wasn't all that talented, but the guy had heart & was a tough as they come... it's ok to have a role player as a favorite... they don't always have to be Allstars.

I've liked a lot of role players and liked a lot of players on my team that no other fan would probably like, but Charlie Ward's PG play made me want to throw up half the time.

lol... ok, so he wasn't the most gifted passer or orchestrator of an offense... but man, there's nothing that sounded nicer than "THREEEE POINT GOALLL... CHAAARRRRRRLLLIIIEEEE WAAAAAAARRRRRD!"

Favorite PGs that I have at least witnessed, in no particular order. Good threat btw:

Tim Hardaway
Darrel Armstrong
Steve Nash
Jason Kidd
Childs/Ward (Sorry, they gotto be clumped together.)
Avery Johnson
Penny Hardaway
Derek Fisher
Sam Cassell
Gary Payton

I'd place Stockton on the list, but I didn't pay too much attention to him (Even though I was a big Jeff Hornacek fan.)
