Isiah's Grand Finale where he sees the writing on the wall, the fans chanting "FIRE ISIAH", and the New York media calling for his head. So what will he do?? He'll do what I have feared and that's trade the Knicks 2008 first rounder that will be a top pick for a player with a big contract and has no purpose on the Knicks. That'll be a great way to leave his final mark on the Knicks.

FIRE HIM BEFORE HE DESTROYS THE KNICKS EVEN MORE!!!
some Knick fans accept mediocrity as excellence .... I don't!

Marbury, Lee, Rose, 2008 unprotected #1 pick and an offer to flip #1 picks in 2009 for Mike Bibby and Ron Artest.

That would pretty much kill this franchise for the next 10 years, at least.

no, but he actually plays defense, something this team needs no part of... we need more rebounding & low post scoring... perhaps adding a scoring PG would help us too.

Dude, I know you have a crush on KMart.
This is one of the only things I think we disagree on.

yeah, i like the guy... he plays w/that attitude & the toughness that i love... yeah, his knees are a big question, but i'd have rather have taken a flyer on him than add a piece that clearly didn't fill any holes that needed to be filled on this team.

I'm not a big fan of K-Mart. He has some exciting plays, but overall when it comes down to it, he's very reliant on his athleticism and with bad knees that's a bad bet. You just know that the second we got him he'd be done for his career.

Zach only seems redundant when you don't have the shooting. We've seen a glimpse of what it looks like when you have shooting and it was very good. So I don't see any reason to be down on his acquisition. We just need to key in on filling our PG & SG needs and preping Chan to take over the SF spot.

I don't have a fear that Isiah will trade our pick for something useless. It doesn't sound like Dolan has any intention on getting rid of Isiah anytime soon. WIth no pressure from Dolan Isiah won't feel compelled to trade our pick in an effort to save his job.

Is Isiah still allowed to trade anything?
I doubt it...
Ether he will make it work (LOL) or he is out.
Plus what he can get for this bunch? Even with Lee and picks included.
Even Ron will not help this mess to go better that 35-37. I am not talking about another handicapped mentioned.

Nix - how you know?
Do you have microphone installed under Dolan bad?
This jerk can do anything any time. From taking Isiah out with security guards to giving 10 yeas extension.

i understand anyone having big issues w/going after a guy like KMart, trust me... it's understandable especially after the disastrous McDyess trade, but in this case it would basically be about money & nothing else, unlike McDyess where we had to give up Camby AND a #7 pick... i'm not saying he's a guy i'd be actively targetting at all.

& what possible reason would u have for saying there's no pressure coming from Dolan in terms of Isiah's job status? Isiah himself has acknowledged that his butt was on the line this season, & says his job status sways with each & every win or loss as the season progresses after the last game vs CHI... these are his own words, not mine... if there's a deal to be made out there to trade our pick for a player that Isiah thinks can save the season, u better believe he's going to be severely tempted to make it... the problem is that player is just as likely to be someone like Baron Davis as it is someone who might actually make some sense for this franchise like Kobe Bryant knowing Isiah's penchant to make deals w/o consideration of longterm consquences or logical placement within the team's overall roster structure.

Guys i'm saying that Dolan it seems has told Isiah that he's not in danger. It has been alluded to from several sources. He's not going to come out and make any public show of support but it seems that Isiah's job is safe for this season at least. Isiah is merely saying what people want to hear. It also makes him the more sympathetic character to be appear vulnerable rather than defiant right now.

Dolan is reluctant to admit that all this time and money has been for nothing and firing Isiah would be an admission of that. So he's going to give Isiah much more time to right the ship. I'm using reason and Dolan's past behavior as a guide. He won't do it right now cuz the papers and public are screaming for it. Dolan doesn't like to be told what to do, even if it would seem to be the logical move.

Jay Williams is still lurking too. Lets give him the full MLE with a no trade clause, b/c he's a point guard.

Personally' I think Isiah should re-sign:
Jerome James
Stephon suckbury
Malik Rose
Jered Jeffries
Fred
Curry
Crawford

To four year contracts, when their contracts end. I'm actually learning to enjoy watching Dolan and Isiah destroy our team. It's fun!
I'll never trust this' team again.
