which will soon be followed by "The Official "Isiah is Fired" Thread" that Martin and Andrew have been kind enough to allow me the pleasure of starting.

As Bip so eloquently mentioned on the "Dear Nixluva" thread, as the only person that was right about Isiah from the very start, I deserve apologies from everyone that questioned, challenged, ridiculed and/or ignored me.

I'm magnanimously going to start this thread to give those people a chance to apologize to me like men. I hope some of you take this opportunity to admit you were wrong and give me the credit that I deserve.

The only person on this website that is consistently right, is the one guy most people despise:

Islesfan!

We all owe him an apology

You're goddamn right you do!

I apologise Islesfan.

newyorknewyork gets credit for being the first.

Bip, asking people to apologize isn't the same as apologizing. Just so you know.

I never really questioned you. I soured on Isiah shortly after he led Chaney out in handcuffs. I just didn't jump in the truck so readily, so I refuse to apologize..
I just hope that people will like me

this is a very complex issue for me...

While the state of the "team" (& I use that word very lightly) is as bad as I've ever seen it & that includes the Cartwright/Sugar Ray years, & I admit to drinking the southside of Chicago kool-aid Isiah was peddling. I still am not sure that rampant hate on the team you profess to root for is the answer either.

Isles you indeed deserve props for your accurate forecasting of the ships sinking but it's a little like the person who steps outside their house everyday cursing the clouds on the horizon & predicting rain & then proceeds to do a big dance when it actually does rain once every three weeks.

next time though I'll bring a raincoat

Action Jackson, it's been raining here for 6, 7 years now. Every since the Ewing trade. The only thing is this. Islesfan simply said it wouldn't stop with Isiah, with A LOT of anger. I don't apologize to Islesfan, b/c for the most part, I have agreed with him, accept maybe for his first year or so here, but I had one foot out the door ever since the Mo T trade (Stupid) and I hated all of his moves that Summer. I really had a hard as hell time supporting him since the Jerome James signing. Trading picks for Curry, who most loved getting, just pissed me off.

Islesfan deserves credit from me b/c I agree and agreed with him, but I have no reason to say sorry. I've disagreed with him about a couple of things, like our views of Ariza, but that happens.

Islesfan, in short, you're a jerk.

Actually with the Knicks likely to lose their next 5 games, which would make it 1 win in 14 games, that would be like the sun coming out once every three weeks.

Glad to see you're starting to come around though.

The guy is still an ass and Isiah still deserved a chance to show if he can or can't turn the team around. He didn't, it was a either or question..... you didn't pass the bar exam.

It will be 35 degrees below zero in New York in the middle of July before I apologize. I have a life after basketball. I am a Knicks lover and a great fan. I complain when they loose but I don't make this forum and the Knick my way of life. I skip over your blog statements but I couldn't resist this. I went bact to read some of the postings on Thanksgiving day and I just shock my head. While you guys are counting the days When Zeke will be gone and Marbs and Curry will be gone you still will have that hate for someone one else new on the team. Maybe the new coach. You live for hate.
I think that you need to read the medical journal about people who carries hate in thier lives all the time. It causes all kinds of sickness and shortens your life span. You need to think about that because you can hate so much that you might not be around to see the Knicks win the big one.
Like I said never in your lifetime would I apologize. Lover for life with a piece of mind.

I don't remember ever ridiculing you over Isiah, but I apologize for ever supporting that bum. I finally faced reality at mid season last year. I always give players, personnel the oportunity to show what they can do for us, until they don't show anything, and then I start to question. I was totally right about Curry though, way before he even got here. And I don't need an apology from anyone, because sooner or later, I'm proved right most of the time.
I'll never trust this' team again.

when posters still call Isiah "Zeke" is still a sign of love.

Thats the cozy "isiah is my friend" Z word that are used by Isiah followers.

Isles, I am sorry for you on this thread!

But who am I to bash you for self promotion. You will revel in the bath of a cleansed Isiahness but as you know the yucky residue of him must include the expulsion StarPhuchbury to be complete.
