See his pic in the Post article today? I dont think he looks like he has a weight problem at all. He looks like he is VERY strong. The Knicks should give him a good look, only downside is his height - but nobody is perfect. Isnt Ben Wallace only around 6-8? I dont really know much about this years draft class so I cant give a 100% educated opinion on who we should pick - I just think it should be the best talent available...regardless of position outside of PG.

Lets do one thing this year. Lets get a center. They have needed one since Pat Ewing left. I think these 6'8, 6'9'' guys is the last thing the KNicks need. If you haven't seen it NBA is about height and have a player that alters the outcome of games. Some times even a stiff 7' player can make an impact on the outcome of the game. The knicks main problem is height why not address that issue first. Even if they add a player 7' with defensive skills it will be good for 7 more wins next year. That is enough to get them into the playoffs. I am convinced had the KNicks kept nene they would have made the playoffs. Right now the Knicks should be looking at players like Badaine or Kaman any player that is a legit 7' or close that will win them some gams.

I agree we need a center and that we have needed one since the departure of Pat - but we arent going to get a suprstar type big man, and that is what a team really needs to win. At least against the West. Personally I would take Khandi if we could get him and then go from there. We are going to need a legit PF outside of KT - he isnt going to get it done. And Dyess as far as I am concerned is not a player we can count on until proven otherwise. Get a center - Lang, Khandi - whatever - we just need a legit big man who can play defense, grab boards, and help with a few baskets. Then the real roster makeover begins.
