if Isiah's going to keep playing Jared "I can't hit the side of a warehouse with my jumper" Jefferies over him... i literally get nauseous everytime i see fishlips taking the ball to the hole w/absolutely zero idea of what he's going to do w/the ball once he gets in the paint... why this guy is seeing minutes over a rookie that Isiah was supposedly so high on in the offseason boggles my mind.

in fairness, jefferies looked decent tonight. i could see someone being interested in him. except, oh wait, his contract and trade-kicker. but he looked decent.

This team is so not ready. The one Thing JVG had that kept him winning was his preparation. stupid thomas thinks it's his pgs that aren't playing D, no way can you can contain a Pg with out a shot blocker in the paint.

In the offseason isiah sought council from Chuck Daly who told him he needed to tighten the rotation. So in paint-by-numbers fashion that is what isiah is doing, to the point the kids can't get garbage time.

It's just like Brown telling isiah he wanted to get rid of Mo, Jalen, Francis, etc and add defenders like Collins and Jeffries, and lo and behold, that's what isiah does.

Some of them were obvious moves (though there are many more obvious ones he hasn't done) but it still reads as though Isiah is coaching by mail-order.

Chandler should be in the D-League. And he should take Mardy with him.

Isiah just wants to win now at all costs, and he obviously wants to show Dolan that he is doing that by playing veterans over rookies. Its sad but its true.

Chandler doesn't suck. The owner and the coach/GM do.

He's just a rook. It isn't unusual for a coach to give a rook more bench time. I mean it isn't like he's a King James or Durant, who you let take the team over from day one. I expect him to get more minutes and maybe even a starting position next year. And if not, then start questioning why he's sitting under a guy who can't hit the Empire State Building with a golf ball.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Isiah knows if chandler comes out performs better than guys with bigger contracts , he would have another dilema of who to play and give minutes.

That is half of his battle as coach this yr...not having a set rotation of dependable players.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Exactly, and that's part of my argument about putting money into players who are never worth it. I know you have to commit to certain contracts, not just players or their abilities, not unless it's a bonified franchise player. So then there's a certain protocol that has to be followed. Otherwise you have so many millions of dollars just sitting on a bench doing nothing. It just doens't look good to the investors or even the fans.
I'll never trust this' team again.
