- Zach & Jamal shooting the same % is NOT good. Zach also really NEEDS TO PASS...the offense stagnates and Isiah does NOTHING about it!
- Except for those shooting 83% and above, the FT shooting is deplorable
- For supposed PG's, Nate and Mardy are under 2 assists per game...and need I remind you that Mardy really shouldn't see ANY time...I don't like that he takes mins away from Nate of late.
- Q-Rich has a lot of fire and desire, but he is our WEAKEST link
- Curry & Zach can start together but they CANNOT play together on the floor as much as Isiah has them playing together

Too bad those stats don't also include turnovers.

Does anyone think the low shooting percentages have something to do with

"not having a head out there"

I don't believe this. I personally think the poor shooting is just an aberration and I fully expect the team to start shooting better once the dust settles. I was just wondering what other people thought.

According to 82games.com, the Knicks best lineup by far is Marbury-Crawford-Balkman-Lee-Curry

Actually any lineup with Balkman and Lee in it seems to be the Knicks best. Its a good thing we keep them on the bench for when we're already behind 10 and need "energy."

It is clear to me that Nate should be shooting all his attempts from 3-pts as his percentage is much higher.

I think Knicks will get back on the right track, if we can just be patient while they right the ship. Once the dust settles, I think we'll see that we really have a championship team here.

On the bright side, Eddy has cut down his turnover rate.

Yeah, Zach had 7 turnovers last night. That's too much for our "best player." He was clearly forcing the issue. If it's really true that he doesn't understand why the fans boo and call for Isiah to be fired, he might have been rattled.

6.5 rpg, 0.5 bpg and 0.4 spg from your starting Center is disgraceful.

I wouldn't go as far as to say taht we will win a champhionship but I do feel that once the dust settles we can begin to work on things that are affecting us. First we need to cut down our turnovers by a couple a game. I feel that once we are able to do that it will allow us to focus on our defense. I sense that the team is ready for this to happen. It's just that it's been a Wacky NBA season. When you look around the league other teams are having wacky seasons too. We just need to right the ship and get back on track once the dust settles. And I fully expect this to occur.

Good post BJones.

i'm so happy we got Zach... he's really shored up our frontcourt offense with his 40% shooting.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I said before the season if each person could raise their FG% percentage a couple of points and each player shave off a turnover we would have a chance of being a good time. That isnt happening and looks like it wont change. Taking care of the ball and shooting a high percentage is what really good teams do. Our team doesnt care.

When is was in high school my coach would post our baseball stats. One day he heard us talking about stats and said W-L is the only stat you will hear about from now on. I still keep that motto with my softball team. i could care less about who score, who passes with this team. 2-8 is correct.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

I have been saying this for a while now the Knicks perimeter shooting is aweful. You want to look at it this way the KNicks would be shooting close to 38% from the floor if it wasn't for Eddy and DLee. Forget defense forget turnovers the turnovers are happening because players are actually passing to much and are passing up good open looks to pass more than they need to. Thats where the team is totally lacking confidence in their shooting.
