I honestly dont expect Reyes or Delgado back this season, and if they do come back they won't be playing at a high level. It's difficult to believe this team will go anywhere with all of these injuries. Right now you can't make any panic moves that will cost our top prospects or hurt our finances for the next offseason. Just got to take this one of the chin and move on.

Its funny but even though baseball has the most games by far of any sport--the frikin season ALWAYS flies by. Maybe for the reasons that it overlaps the end of basketball and the start of football and direct summertime --but my God we are nearly half way through the season. Manny Ramirez 50 games suspension is already up? Such as life???

We need to restructure this team.

yeah, we look done. we have to be the most unluckiest franchise in the nl. the only one who hasnt won a world series in our division in the past ten years besides the nationals. and for most of the years, we were supposed to have the best team in the division or at least compete. the training staff needs to get fired having players out for months on what seems to be routine injuries that should take day to day. and i am calling for minayas head because he hasnt drafted very good players except gomez who he traded and f mart made the most embarrassing blooper i have ever seen in my life. this is the great player or savior you are protecting? i am not blaming jerry yet though he did make some boneheaded moves with the bullpen. but he is a much better motivator than randolph and the players like him. so i would give him one more year with a healthy staff. so the training staff and minaya should go.

well, neise is coming up after a very good triple a stint where he has an era of under 1. i like his stuff but he just wasnt ready last year. we will see if he is ready now. we need something positive. the good news is that our schedule is kind of easy. i just hope beltran comes back soon. he solves so many problems alone.

this team is becoming a joke. almost knick-like. miniya needs to go.

forget that - catching the phils was a tough job regardless.

hope that the wildcard teams don't make moves. it looks like the giants are getting freddy sanchez which hurts the mets more than cliff lee this season.
