By all accounts Lee is too laterally slow and his shot too poor to be an effective three. But it's also worth remembering we won 6 in a row under brown, our best win streak in years, with Lee at the three. So put him out there and let him make himself useful.

Lee can't guard 3's or 4's so I don't see a difference there. The team has been successful with him starting.

Sometimes you have to make the other team adjust to you. Lee can't guard a small forward? True. I promise you they can't guard him down low or keep him off the boards. He would have a field day on the boards.

And maybe he can develop a small forward type game. I wouldn't put it past him, he works hard. However, I was surprised he did not show up with a much better outside shot this year.

david looked terinble in his minutes at 3 this year because he set up for open jumpers and then missed them. but it's tough for him to operate low on this team with itchy and scratcy there. he should be all about cutting to the hoop and going to the offensive boards and gettting out on the run. leave this outside shot thing alone for now.
