Just saw the title on ESPN.COM and did a little reasearch. INSIDER probably goes into more detail.

Why take two bad contracts of players we don't need when we can just hold onto one that we can at the very least use?

I want to get rid of Steph as bad as anyone, but I am not gonna jump into an 8 foot hole just to get out of a 6 foot one.

Any trade where we take back 2 guys like Kenny Thomas and Rahim, Francisco better be coming here too.

Steph should come from the bench for 4 min in garbage time...
Man should pay for what he did here in NY...
And Isiah should coach this team another 10 games.
He looks good today - the way I want to see him.

Knicks absolutely have to take back a bad contract if they hope to trade Marbs.

Its kinda over right now. A trade needs to happen. All the players look and sound stressed out.

The sooner isiah can make a move the better.....sort the roster out latter. Marbury needs to go.

Marbury for Brad Miller...sounds intriguing

i would love that if it were true... Brad Miller has 1 more year left on his deal than Marbury does, but he's only going to be making $12 mil & he provides some low post defense, shotblocking & passing, all things we are sorely lacking at the present time, & our cap is pretty much screwed til then anyway unless Isiah somehow can manage to trade Zach or Curry... to get a player that could actually help this team, fill a need & unload Marbury in the process sounds too damn good to be true... there has to be a catch.

just for argument's sake, imagine that gets done, then Isiah trades Curry, Jamal, D Lee, Jones & a lottery pick for Kobe... ur looking at a pretty strong looking lineup in '08:

C - Miller / Morris / Turd
PF - Zach / Malik / Jefferies
SF - Balkman / Chandler
SG - Kobe / Q Rich
PG - Mardy / Nate
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Forget about Kobe for a second.

How about something like Curry for Jose Calderon and Rasho Nesterovic (1 year left after this, evens out the salary).

Calderon is a pure PG. Insane assist rate, great A/TO. I think he'd be a tremendous guy to add, and really how long can Toronto go with having two great PG's there. They really could use another big scorer up front, especially a big guy to play in the low post.

Meanwhile if we could add a Miller that's a nice complement to Zach.

Toronto needs a rebounder, Curry can't reb at all and isn't even a shotblocker

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

If the Maloofs took on crazy Ron Artest ,maybe they could take a chance on aimmature Marbury. Brooklyn and Queensbridge, the cows in sac-town will be mooing before the sun comes up
