Neither Thomas nor his players would directly confirm that report. But a representative for one Knicks player, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed the general sentiment, saying that the players did not want him back because they felt as if he had quit on them. Marbury, the person said, also demanded to be traded or bought out of his contract.

He must have serious personality defects that are even more severe than we realized if none of his teammates want him.

He doesn't seem to have a group of guys that he runs with and never has, at least not guys who play on the same team. I remember Tim Thomas being shocked when Marbury gave him an ipod loaded with tunes Tim would like. Marbury seems to at times do kind gestures for his teammates but he does not have relationships with them. I am not sure where this comes from. It maybe a mental illness or a lack of social development. It maybe something as simple as he has always been a prima donna and has never thought anyone else is as good as he is. Unfortunately he has been allowed to believe this even more under Isiah. It is funny how Isiah is finally seeing what Larry Brown saw early on, Marbury can't run a team or play a team game. What he wrote on his sneakers when he was a Net, "All alone" was a very telling statement for how he has chosen to play with and interact with his team. Any other guy on the Knicks including Jerome James would have had a teammate come out and support him in this situation. No one other than Telfair has even made an attempt to justify or forgive Marbury's actions when he left the team.

Marbs, David lee, Nate and randolph morris for Artest, Bibby, and Francisco Garcia.

Isiah then waives Jerome (which I think he can't cuz of the surgery) and chris webber and try to pick up someones point guard via trade......sergio rodriguez?
