A couple Knick players and at least one staff member get the distinct impression Thomas wants to be fired and is going to extremes (I offer for evidence the bizarrely stained, even for Isiah, Stephon Marbury misadventure) to give Dolan no other choice.

Are we doomed to follow a team where people come not to play/work hard, but just to try to perform so badly so they can get bought out? What a damn disgrace!

Isiah isn't trying hard enough apparently. How on earth this circus continues to go forward is beyond me.

What's sad is if we beat the lowly Kings tonight then watch everything get put on hold and there will be the train of though that 3-5 isn't all that bad and maybe this blowup is what the team needed and now they'll turn the corner!

Almost as sad is if we lose to the terrible Kings then the calls for Isiah's head will increase. What's sad about that is how FAR WE HAVE TO SINK before something is done about this mess!

Peter Vescey is a fascetious enigma half the time. Don't pay attention to him; he loves the smell of his own ****.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I agree we're going to lose but Bibby won't be doing the honors. He's out till December. But his backup will replicate his stats since we got Stephon D'ing him up.

Look, Isiah isn't going anywhere until the Anucha appeal happens. Didn't Dolan basically come out and say that at some point. It has nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with what Dolan considers to be the Garden's image.

Well if he re-signs he loses the remaining money in his contract. But if he's fired, I'd assume he'd still be paid. I'd rather be fired.

Well, Isiah wants to get fired so he can sue Dolan for firing him for "false accusations levied by Ms. Browne Saunders." Isiah probably thinks he can steal an extra $10 million.

Actually- I think all this gives Dolan to fire Isiah and not have it impact the Anucha appeal- and it does go to image- I don't think Isiah can go without Marbury also going-

I think the problem is really that Isiah and his GM aren't really on the same page. His GM drafts and trades for certain players who don't fit well together, and Isiah has to coach them. Tough position for a coach. I hope his GM backs him up instead of undermining him, as has happened with previous coaches.

Dolan deserves this mess after giving Isiah a contract extension even though he clearly didn't deserve it... Isiah will get fired, collect on the remaining dollars he has left on his deal, & go sell popcorn in Indiana for the rest of his days until he runs across the next idiot willing to give him a job in upper management... most likely a very close relative of Dolan.
