Isiah has just been punked. I have not seen a beat down like this since the Gooch from Different Stokes took Arnold Jackson's lunch money. He just let Marbury make he him look stupid. Where is that Southside of Chicago talk now? As far as the players, it was just about a year ago that it was said that none of the players like Marbury.

The only thing I can think of is Isiah expects Marbury to fight that fine. And Isiah wants to look like the did everything to help Puss Head and no matter what Marbury is the bad guy.

How the hell does Isiah let this guy get away with this stuff? He walked out on the team and then threatens the coach and still no suspension? For years players have complain about Marbury skipping practice and favoritism. Isiah right now will have no respect from the other players. I really don't see this getting better.

How many bosses or mangers let's their subordinates go off on them? Isiah is a big joke right now to the other players.

Isiah is like that teacher that is suppose to be tough on his students. However, he has that one kid that gets into fights and does no homework and disrespects the teacher in front of other teachers and the whole class. Then that teacher (Isiah) says because of your actions in school I will give you detention and does nothing.

That teacher will lose respect from the whole class. Not only that, he will lose control of his class.

By Isiah doing nothing to Marbury he has created a climate that players do not want to be on this team.

Really all the players need to go to Dolan and suggest putting Isiah and Marbury in check.

What was the point of all these players like Nate putting time in over the offseason for this nonsense.

You have to understand that Marbury has been spoiled since he was a kid. He has always had his way. All Isiah is doing is letting him have his way.

I guess business as usual. Isiah keeps having double standards with his players and Marbury. While Marbury continues to skip practice and get massage when the players are working hard.

Um... you forget grasshopper. This is the NBA.

When you're in college or HS when you don't give coach what he wants you lose your spot, then you lose your minutes, then you eventually get suspended. After that you're cut.

In professional basketball, the first thing you do in order to get rid of someone is play them to increase their trade value.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Trade value? Are you serious?

What team does not know what Marbury brings to the table?

What team is going to take Marbury at 21 mil a year and one more year to go? What team is going to take Marbury when he is a known cancer? He is not even like by players on this team and other players around the league. If Marbury gets cut that is a different story if some team will pick him up for 2 mil. We are talking about 21 mil a year for a guy that is not playing good, getting killed on the defensive end every night, walked out on the team, and is blackmailing coach.

Please tell what new secret a GM can learn about Marbury that he doesn't know already in the next 3 weeks?

Any Gm that does not know what Marbury brings to the table needs to get shots in the ass with a nail gun.

So you want to buy Marbury out? Why would he accept a penny less that he's owed?

I'm just saying that the situation is phucked. Isaiah painted himself into this corner, and now he has no choice but to play dude.

If that is the case then are saying that Marbury should be allowed to do anything without any punishment? Isiah did not even have the guts to DNP Marbury for game.

You can not let the guy play the very next game with no punishment. How the hell does Isiah expect the players to respect him if he let's Marbury get away with this? Isiah talks about chemistry, team leader, and all this other nonsense . Including that players won't play if they don't follow his rules. Then he turns around and gives Marbury 35 minutes after the team voted him out. My question is why the hell did Isiah even bother to ask the team if he was going to let Marbury play anyway?

Can you really see any other team letting a player get away with this?

I guess Isiah must really be "Riding Dirty."

BigC, the reality was that Collins was hurt and Nate still has the hammy problem. If Collins was healthy, IT probably would have sat Marbury, but he was desperate. He knows only winning will correct this situation, so he rolled the dice that they could steal a win from the Clippers. The problem was he lost the gamble and now might have lost his team.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Fred Jones only played 17 minutes as well as Nate. Isiah could have increased their minutes and benched Marbury for the game. Hell he could have even had Jeffries play some pg like he did on the Wizards. Anything but let the guy that walked out on the team play. Even Isiah has to suit up. But one thing you can not do is let Marbury play. Show some respect for yourself. Isiah might be getting a big fu from the team now. All this looks like is Isiah is scared of Marbury. The way Isiah is acting I would not be surprised if Marbury is starting again very soon.

The most ridiculous thing is Marbury claiming that he is going to tell Isiah's dirt. I mean if he is going to tell Isiah's dirt, he is going to do it anyway. Whether it is because of not starting or when Marbury finally is no longer a Knick. Isiah needs to man up and do what he has to do or he will get fired because Puss Head.

I agree. Playing Marbury was a move out of desperation, and it never should have been done after the players voted to sit him. The only Marbury should have played is if his teammates said it was okay and even then, he should have only gotten 10 minutes at most.

dude no offense, i'm positive most of us are attention whores, but you posted the same exact crap on realgm.

should try exhibiting some self control.

saying "marbury punked isiah" is very thoughtful.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Love that internet warrior mentality. Don't keep all that anger in your brain bro. You'll end up like Dr. Cox.

The Knicks need to go Tim Thomas on Marbury's ass and let him sit out the rest of the season at home. Then maybe they can trade him next year as an ending contract.

Only reason I can think of not to do this is that Stephon knows where the skeletons are hidden.

Prolly knows all about Dolan & Isiah's DP on Anucha.

Marbury's gotten what he's wanted his entire NBA career... he's been catered to, accomdated, babied, spoiled, the whole 9... he asked out of MIN cuz he couldn't deal w/playing there, so they traded him closer to home to Jersey... then all of a sudden he decides he's not happy there either, so they trade him to Phoenix in a deal that makes our deal to get him look like a stroke of genius when u consider who the Nets got back in return... then he gets what he's always wanted his entire life & gets traded to the Knicks where he's wanted to play since he was a kid in Coney Island, & he ends up screwing up that situation to high heaven, alienating coaches, teammates & fans in the process... pretty soon i'm sure we'll give him what he wants & pay him just to get the F outta town... the only ones that are being punked here are the NY Knick fans.

Good post. At this point I doubt he is going anywhere. Bad move by Isiah. Marbury calls out Isiah and got his way. At this point you have to wonder who really runs the Garden.
