Dolan Unhappy With Isiah's Handling Of Marbury Situation
November 15, 2007 - 2:24 pm
Marc Berman/New York Post -

Isiah Thomas' handling of the Stephon Marbury crisis apparently has not sat well with owner James Dolan and could lessen his standing in the owner's eyes.

But a rumor Dolan was headed to Los Angeles last night to discuss Thomas' job status was shot down emphatically by Knicks' officials.

He'll be fired by All-Star break that's when I said it would happen.

just like layden, eh.

some justice.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Two more losses and chants of Fire Isiah when they return to the Garden on Tuesday should get it done.

That's the scary thing though. What if it's 2 wins? He'll be here for good. This team is too inconsistent to help Dolan come up with a final decision. Anyone else, and this team would have been blown to pieces.

Dolan's too stupid, stubborn, and loyal to do the right thing here.

There is such a pall over the franchise now. Who on the team will be fighting for Isiah if even Marbury wouldn't?

Yeah he'd goof up in I SAY UGH like fashion and botch up his firing like coach did letting Marbury back.

If agents of all players will start calling Dolan and asking him to get read of Steph on behalf of their clients and Isiah will refuse... Dolan can be shaken...

arkrud - c'mon, what agent is calling out the person who signs their phat bonus checks to demand a change?

The only person James answers to is Lord Charles. And sometimes I wonder about that.

No way. I want Isiah to keep his job until after a couple of more home games where he has to listen to Knicks fans tell him how they feel about him "Isiah Sucks!" and what they think should happen to him "Fire Isiah!".

He deserves to hear it and to twist in the wind a little more. After the Nets game early next month would be a good time to fire him.

You are pretty sadistic…

dolan is those things- but I also think dolan is addicted to isiah- and I hope he is starting to wake up from the coma that has been the last several years.
