"There's a lot of things going," Rose said. "There's still things going on from months ago and those things kind of take away from basketball. But it wasn't like Stephon and Isiah's latest situation was the culmination of those things. It was just something that had happened and took our minds off of basketball."

IOW, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a lot more festering under the surface and will so long as these two are on the team.

Burn the whole thing down...

You can see Stephon's top vertabrae sticking out of his skull.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Bone Bruise = Mild bone fracture. Too mild to be called a fracture in medical terms but it is indeed a slight fracture of the bone.

I don't believe this to be the case. I had a cartilage injury in my knee which resulted in bone bruising of the bones above and below my knee. I am pretty certain it was not fractured.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Watch Nate give us a healthy dose of Nate as a showcase to the Kings.

Kevin Martin will drop a lot of points tonight be prepared.

It's entirely true. A bone bruise is actually a slight localized fracture of the bone. A sprain is actually a slight localized tear of the tendon. If you continue to pound on such injuries they have the potential to evolve into larger fracture or tears which are then designated AS fractures or tears. If you lay off them they can heal rapidly.

That may have been the first time since 2003 that I agreed with everything isiah said.

Depressing pregame interviews w Isiah and Steph. They both look beat up.
DJ that signature has to go. Not ok.
I'm going to watch the entire game and root for a W.
On a lighter note- Islesfan after a brief mean and not funny streak has come back lighter and funnier. Zippy, even. That may balance out the karmic shift enough to get a Knick W tonight. This is all I have to go on.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

I'm sure Cosmic will have it later, but to very loosely paraphrase he kept saying he needed defense and leadership from the PG position. Finally he was asked what leadership would look like on the court and he said being aware of bonus situations, mismatches, time management, who's open, etc. And he doesn't need it occasionally or in spurts but every second of every game. And we've been loosing close games on last possessions and late game defensive lapses.

He hung Marbury out to dry.
