Marbury isn't high on LeBron's list

CLEVELAND -- Not that it was ever considered, but one can nix a possible deal to Cleveland for Knicks guard Stephon Marbury before the Internet rumors swirl any further.

When asked about Marbury, Cavaliers forward LeBron James said, ''I couldn't have a guy like that on my team.''

Well, that about sums it up.

The two traded barbs last year when Marbury released a Starbury One basketball shoe that retailed for about $14.98. James' new Nike shoe sells for $140.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

the dude walked out on his team. He is a Captain. Leader. PG.

Why would ANYONE want him on the team?

Maybe Miami at the vet minimum cause with Wade healthy they could smell a title. They have the vets and leadership to handle Marbury. That's it.

To want Steph somebody must be really "high".
Isiah managed not only nullify his future with NBA but also reduce the value of almost all players on Knicks roster to ZERO.
When people are getting involved of debacle of such proportions their carrier always is severely affected.

What will become of the "Starbury"?

This concept was a stroke of genious that even a knuckle head like Marbury was able to pull it off, but if it were any other urban legend with some facilities still intact they could run for president and won! They had no idea what they had.

Funny, cleveland might have been the only taker for him.

Ceveland could actually use Marbury because none of ther point guards are penetrators. BUt they have no one we want other than Lebron and maybe Gooden.

I'm sure Lebron's been saying "never on my team" since 2004. Imagine him witnessing Marbury not knowing how to setup the best players in the NBA at the Olympics, and feuding with LB all the while.

they'll be able to get him for the veteran's minimum in a couple weeks in all likelihood... why should they give up anything to get Marbury?
