marbury is gone, the supposed best player and franchise savior. every team marbury has left has gotten better, the guy is a cancer, plain and simple (and this is coming from a guy who loved him at lincoln and contemplated getting a custom starbury knicks jersey).
starting mardy is a great thing for this team. it gives us size (the dude is 6'6") and defense in our backcourt (6'6" at 1, 6'5" at 2), something we desperately need. more over, it puts the emphasis down low on zach and eddy, where it should be and where it strayed at times with marbury in dribbling around doing nothing. crawford can gain more consistency because he knows he's the backcourt scoring option every night.
lee, balkman, and nate off the bench. nate was terrific tonight (no turnovers and shot 50% from the field), lee and balkman will get better with more consistency.
i'd like to see chandler get more burn, but for the time being i like fred jones. he plays hard, plays D, and knows his role.
this team could be better than we think once we get mardy at 100% and zach returns.
(and lets not forget the #'s mardy put up as a starter last yr)

Ahh, we've gone this road before. We always have the talented players to be a "better team than we think" but in the end its always a let down. You can see that happening already, we being at 2-4 and things will only get worse. Its just reality. Why do analyst think we suck? Because we are a greatly flawed team with great pieces that just dont make a winner. With guys like Marbury, Craw, Q-Rich and Curry being main pieces, this team will go nowhere. And lets not talk about Isiah the GM and coach.
We have talent, but we always lack the wins to show it, so in the end its the same bad results for us...
