Curry had chances in the last 3 games to show something against 2 of the top young big men in the game and an aging legend. He couldn't do a damn thing to slow down Howard and Stoudemire, who did whatever they pleased, and he disappeared against Shaq.

I thought this guy was supposed to be a once in a generation talent that was worth giving up 2 lottery picks for?

Why doesn't he get the Marbury treatment? Oh yeah, because Marbury is being made a scapegoat.

Something I've noticed about Curry is he's definitely in, in season weight gain mode.

Pretty much.

To be somewhat fair to Curry, his once in a generation labrum is torn. Way too many of our guys are playing banged up, which is really dumb in an 82 game marathon. Zeke is feeling the fire and it'll probably lead to lots of injuries that could have been avoided with a little precaution.

Anyone that doesn't know the difference in the importance of a point guard (floor general) and a man who gets the ball thrown to him for a lay up doesn't know basketball. If the coach is looking for "leadership" and someone to be an extention of himself on the court it starts wit Marbury. Even Q Rich said that "people" need to RUN THE PLAYS COACH IS CALLING FOR. I doubt he's talking about Curry when he is accusing people of "breaking the plays". That's the opposite of leadership when you start getting selfish. Point guard CONTROLS the tempo and the whole 9. Not rocket science.

your right, seriously Curry's defense is so bad it makes me physically sick........ He needs to be disciplined until he can loose some godamn weight

i swear no matter what isiah says or dangles in front of eddy, takes away... etc... he will never be a truly capable player until he gets in REAL nba shape and looses the spare tire

Eddy is like a glorified Maurice Taylor...I can't believe we have depended on this guy to be a franchise player.

Defense and leadership. Something that Duncan and KG offer by the boatload.

Do they play PG? I didn't think so.

Do you think the PG play would be helped if Curry played defense and knew how to defend a pick and roll? I think so.

Isles, you get 3 or 4 years to be a sloth and underachiever with the Knicks. After that the hammer comes down on you.

He probably conserves energy and avoids fouls on the defensive end to get his 20 plus ppg at the other end. No way guy with that talent sucks on defense. I dont buy the sloth thing, he's far from a sloth on the offense. It's his damn attitude

Brand is therabouts as well, he just plays for a sucky team. In a few years you could conceivably add Stoudamire and later Howard and Okafor to that list. Not to mention Oden. Once in a decade talent Curry is not. It's debatable with the wealth of two way big men we have now that we may call him a talent at all if he doesnt perform both ends.

Marbury is benched for breaking plays. That's the main reason.

Dude I said this 2gms ago yet it falls on deaf eyes. I was ring leader this off-season right around camp time that said this guy is NOTORIOUS(B.I.G.) gaining weight as the season gets underway and progresses. The dude looks like he's easily put on 10-15lbs since the start of the season.

Speaking of Zach, was he spotted in any strip clubs over the weekend?

Not to be callous but who gets 5 days off from work when a grandparent dies?

curry is just not dedicated. WAtch amare approach the game, the guy plays like he has a purpose, like he refuses to be outworked. curry just plays.thats it.. I don't like that, I played ball, I loved the game and played hard until I had no more.. that was the fun part of the game, giving until there is nothing left.. Amare plays that way. I love that guy, really , I have a man crush.. top 10 player in this league easily!!

Agree.

Then again, for me........Lee makes Zach expendable.

1) We haven't had a good white player since Dave Debeucherre. Yes......it matters.

2) Lee plays like he wants to WIN. Zach plays like he wants to get into an AllStar game.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I said the same thing today..... My mother died in 2001 and I took a week, came back and then took some more time off to myself when things slowed down....
