If all this Marbury stuff is true, I am very interested to see what Mardy Collins will do with his playing time. He pretty much does everything better than Marbury except shoot.

I think there is a very strong chance that Mardy will have the team playing better as a unit.

Whachallthinkaboutdat?

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I think losing Marbury (if he's really gone, which I'm not convinced of) could be a positive for the team. I'd be excited to see Mardy Collins get a chance.

I think the Knicks would be watchable again.

I think Mardy will do a very good job and losing Marbury is only part 1 of what needs to be done.

I think, like last year, Mardy will need time. I'm also not convinced of his health. Point being, lets not make tonight be the night to judge Mardy.

I think Nate would put in a better showing tonight, but we have his leg to worry about too.

Mardy must be showing something to Isiah in practice in terms of running the show

I don't know about Mardy's health. I do know that he looked much stronger defensively against the Heat than Steph did. Tho I think Steph had some moments, Mardy looked pretty solid for a guy that hadn't play a minute this season. This is a tough spot for him and i'm not going to hold it against him if we lose this game. Let's just see what this team can do with him at the point along with Nate and a little Jamal. Maybe we'll see Chan too :)

Watchable again? Look, I bought some tix to games this year, so I'm watching.
But until they stop giving up both open perimeter shots AND allowing guard to get to the rim freely,
the watchability suffers.
Hopefully Mardy brings some more D than Marbs, but we still have a matador at the SG.

I MISS JOHN STARKS!!! I think I said that like 3 times last Friday. MoFo was tough as nails.

I don't know if Mardy is healthy or not either, but he looked like he moved pretty well to me the other night.

He got some boards, shook his man a couple of times for drives, and didn't he get a couple of steals?

Ready or not, Collins has been called to duty!

I like the kid, I think he is a good player, and I am rooting for him.

Is this to say if you didn't like him, and didn't think he was a good player, you wouldn't root for him?

This is very good news. Ignoring the money, the knicks rebuilt.

Mardy Collins at the point
Crawford at the 2
Balkman at the 3
Zach Randolph (using contract + young drafted player)
Curry

Bench:
lee, nate and other assorted kids.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

I think we are done, but I'm a fan of the youth in place.

Nate has shown me a ton in the last year and if jeffries is healthy, that's a good piece to the puzzle when we dump Q Rich.

They just used big names to sell tickets, but the real work was the kids and the Curry/Crawford trade...and the final piece was Zach.

We should be 4 - 1 and could just as easily have been 0 - 5.

But marbs moving aside for collins/nate/crawford and even Fred Jones is a step in the right direction.

I'd like to have packaged marbs giant contract (ala francis) for Kobe, but I prefer the hand picked players.

I like starbury...but that was layden's trade that dolan endorsed to sell tickets.

I like mardy collins a whole lot, his game is well rounded and he comes from a good program.

I would start Crawford at the point and Collins at the off. Collins is a big cat and him and Balkman would smother the perimeter. Nate gets a Barbosa-type role off the bench. I'd play Lee and and Randolph down low and trade Curry for a king-sized number 1, no mayo, onion rings, and a Dr. Pepper.

Curry is still awesome. I like starting Crawford at the point, but collins is all point all the time. They can switch on defense. Well, come to think about it, I prefer Crawford bringing the ball up and looking for his shot and if it doesn't present it's self, give it to Collins to run the offense.

Craw is better at feeding curry alley oops, but collins really get's that ball into the post.

Curry is not your problem here. He shoots a high percentage on minimal shots. The problem is that he needs more shots somewhere around 15-20 shots a game and that is what Isiah was having a problem with is that his guards weren't getting him the ball enough. Isiah wants his guards to shoot less and a higher percentage and get the ball to Curry and Randolph, hustle back on defense and stick with their man if anything Isiah wants to help the guards on the defensive side of the ball Crawford and Marbury can't get that done. Thats is your problem. Isiah is finally taking care of the problem and finally coming around to admitting to mistakes made a little late but better late then never.

That's right, I wouldn't root for him...if he was on another team!

I don't like Marbury much, but I still root for him. I just like Mardy in particular.

We can't give Isiah credit for anything because he hasn't earned any.

Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.
